[Collective Request] MOFI Editor

Almost every user of the Editor knows how to make adventures with MOFI elements. However, multiple level converting and no possibility to see our work in the Editor may be frustrating. Also, we don't have access to all MOFI functions (e.g. thunderstorm).

Adventures for MOFI were made using proper tool. Now I am pleasing you, Midnight Synergy, to publish it. Almost all of the users need it.

To the users of the forum: support the request by posting in this topic. I'll be pleased if somebody will add the sentence 'I support official MOFI Editor.' to their signature. Many voices together can do more than many separate voices!

For the last time, the MOFI editor will never happen. The release of WA3 will bring the official WA3 editor. That was a promise that MS made.

Midnight Synergy's response to MINK's email wrote:hi there,

the mofi editor won't be released - when WA3 is ready, an updated editor for it will be released.
(unfortunately there's not release date set for WA3 yet).

Best wishes!
Proof.

At this point the MOFI Editor would only be a convenience. Custom textures let us use MOFI textures even in WA levels, the elements not found by cbloopy were found by jafo, MyNameIsKooky's discovery of Custom Music allows us to use MOFI music (again, even in WA levels). Converting isn't hard, it's just time-consuming. We don't really NEED MOFI hats and glasses...

...BUT I WANT THEM! *puts sentence in sig since I like hats*

I support the MOFI Editor so we can use Grow and Floing in our levels.

Actually the Tunderstorm can be used. I posted how to do it somewhere, but I'm don't remember where.
It has something to do with "06"...

*after 5 seconds of thinking*
So you need to replace the data from weather control with 06.
It can be found in any wlv file.

Guys, regardless of if you support it or not, it's not happening. MS already said so.

What makes you think I support this idea? :? Look at my signature.

First off, I wasn't pointing you out specifically, and second off, this post of yours:

Which brings us back to Qloof's post.

And, Nobody, you can actually use hats with hex and adding models and such. ab-47 does.

... Wait a minute.

More people than cbloopy have figured out how to make models work?

OH MY GOD I HAVE MISSED SO MUCH IN THESE PAST THREE YEARS APPARENTLY

No one's saying a MoFI Editor's a bad idea, if that's the impression you're getting. I'd love to get a proper one as well, having to convert adventures made in the Community one just to test them gets grating after a while.

The thing is, it's already been stated that it flat-out isn't happening. The editor will be updated when WA3 is released, but not until then. If you want to push for one, then go ahead, but it's pretty unlikely to happen.

Actually, Jafo posted all the MOFI hats for you to use somewhere here. You just have to download the Stinker File from MOFI.
