Is there a level where...

You know you're losing it when you can't remember your own game.
Recently going through some adventures in WA1 again. I was suprised to see a very different ending in "The Purple Shard" than I had in my memory. I remembered a scene where all the Rainbow Stars (including Wysp) came to the rescue and blocked the attacks of the Thwarts. That didn't happen on my playthrough.
Am I hallucinating? Am I remembering the wrong level? Help!

No.. MS Sorry. No level happened. Simply you reach the final part where its a straight flat run to the Shard and Star. Although, it's not too late to add that ending in a update,
EDIT: Right after posting this, I thought about it. And I think you're remembering the ENDING CUTSCENE> Not the level end, silly. The Rainbow SHARDs do block the Void's attack and save wonderland. Wysp does help, but only with a Rainbow Teleporter. Thats about all I Figured out just in the past second.

Um, when he said scene, I think he did mean cutscene.

Ah, so I'm not the only one! I'm familiar with this type of game-designing amnesia so I know how it feels, playing my own game and not recognizing some levels at all. How long has it even been now since WA1 was made? Six years?

Maybe I'm even thinking of one of the classic Wonderlands? Was there a level where a whole lot of Rainbow Spirits come to the rescue?

Yes, I guess.
The end of the rainbow.
I don't remember the level name well, it's the last RTW deluxe level.
EDIT: You need to press a purple button to free the sprites, then they will collect the rainbow coins on the water, i guess.

No, but you rescue the rainbow Spirits in Deluxe Pack's final level "The Rainbow World" If I remember. The only rescueing they do to you is rescueing your coins over water.

Yup, you're probably thinking of the End of the Rainbow.

Speaking of End of the Rainbow, hey, Patrick. Whatcha' think about making the Rainbow World the last or second to last adventure in POTz? Somewhere in there a Rainbow World has to fit.. Somehow. My mind doesn't even know POTz storyline completely yet I see room for it somewhere... Maybe in Loof's hat?

Yeah, solving the last level of the Deluxe Set in RTW released the spirits back home and they fly all over collecting coins for you.
