MYSTERY MALFUNCTION
Stinky slowly blinked over some sandy, diminished islands.
All was quiet on Fire Island - Even the seagulls and the crabs didn't dare move a muscle.
"Whats that?" Stinky whispered as he noticed a coral reef emerge from the deep blue ocean.
BLINK!
And he was there.
The island was considerably smaller than the other islands, it seemed to hum and vibrate in an odd fashion...
Stinky lay on the sand, and crawled through a tunnel, indented in the coral. It was a rather akward process, stinkers arn't exactly the slimmest of creatures.
Once he got to the end of the tunnel, he saw a hole leading down.
"Looks dangerous down there, this cave is probably a- WAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!
Trap."
Stinky analized his surroundings.
The ground was a sick pale colour, the water a corrupted green.
There was a Stinker across the green liquid; he was idly staring into nothingness. Stinky darted round a corner and walked over a wood bridge to the room that the Stinker was in, but he was no longer there.
"Huh?"
A key was floating conveniently on a stone plate. "Great! Maybe this will open that gate to the star!"
Stinky took a step forward to approach the purple key: It disappered in a flash. "This is a very strange place... am I hallucinating?" Stinky questioned himself as he entered another room containing coins. (Of course they cloaked themselfs when he entered, angering the young Stinker.)
B-blring! A Ghost-Chomper materialised out of thin air, and he didn't look too happy. Nyak! Nyak! Nyak! N- *Crunch*
"Good ridance." Stinky thought as he shot an arrow of pure fire magic at the beast.
Stinky trudged over to an unfairly placed wooden bridge chain.
Only half of the mossy platforms seemed to rise up, the others remaining planted in their underwater soil.
"Well, all is not what it seems I guess!" Stinky chuckled as he simply walked over the water.
"I guess this ain't so b- YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAWWEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAH!!"
Stinky flew across the caverns lakes, and landed in the room with the odd looking stinker.
"The code is becoming unstable, I cannot let you destroy it!" He haunted.
And then he was gone again.
"AM I THE ONLY SANE PERSON IN WONDERLAND?!" Stinky yelled as he slid across another room, filled with 2 rows of coins. (He couldn't grab them yet, he was too fast sliding across some conveniently placed ice.)
Suddenly, Stinky was in yet another confusing room. He was in a square shaped room that had an odd looking arangement of different colours on the floor. Once again, the strange stinker, (Which Stinky had decided to name Spooky.) was in this room too. Spooky was sitting at the end of the coloured floor, staring into space again. Stinky boarded the floor, but he simply bounced back. "Whaaah?" Stinky questioned. He tried another approuch, this time sucessful. The floor was safely crossed. "Seriously, who ARE you?" Stinky asked the stinker. "The code is clearly breaking apart." Spooky replied ominously. (Then he disappeared.) Stinky walked into another room and realized where he was. The empty space where he'd slid across the ice was now an actual room. Stinky picked up a coin, and put it in his backpack. The coin was still there. He'd put it in his backpack, and it was still in the backpack, and yet the coin was still on the floor, where it was. Stinky took ten coins, and the same thing happened. "Infinite coin source? Awesome!" As stinky grabbed the exit key and jumped into the star, he didn't see the terrible set of amber eyes that were eyeing him, in the darkness. "Never again, Stinky. Never again."

Well said, including the sound enhancements.

That being said, I think a ghost-chomper is a nice idea, as it would be a hybrid of ghost and chomper, .. able to pass through
certain objects, and then to be programmed to just follow Stinky or Loof, instead of bumbling about randomly.

But, ȉ digress, ...thanks for bringing to us an otherworldly and literati vision of game components.

Ghost Chompers aren't his idea, they're Midnight Synergy's. They appear in both Wonderland Adventures games.

VirtLands was probably referencing to the Classic Wonderland trilogy. The ghost and chomper in WSW or RTW would blend to make a chomper that could pass through objects and would chase whichever character was closer.

It's not special at all. That's the joke.

If fact, 1337 has been a "random" number for some time. Coingates which never need to get opened commonly need 1337 coins to open, 1337 is an incorrect answer to quiz questions in certain adventures, etc.

Uh, actually...

1 = l
3 = E
7 = t

1337 = lEEt
lEEt = leet
leet = elite

1337 = elite

Look it up.

Bumpity Bump. Zbot bumping one of his old stories inspired me to continue this. I've added the next part and finished the story. :)
Any other requests for a retelling of an adventure?

How about "Into the Deep Dark Cave?" :twisted:

Actually there's no way to retell that without making everything ludicrous and ridiculous. I can't just write "Loof saved the game", but without that, Loof should've died at the first flame, right after the orange gate. Failing that, he would've died in the next room, between the red and green gates. Seriously, these two flames simply shouldn't have been there. There is no way to predict the required timing reliably, you're FORCED to save/load.

But here's a short-short attempt:

Loof entered another dark room, lightened up by the beautiful magical glowgem.
In the room, he saw one chomper, one scritter and four crabs.
Spying the layout, he also noticed a fireflower.
Pondering over the enigma before him, he finally thought "oh bugger" and left the cave entirely to search for a less dangerous adventure.

:lol: :lol: :lol:

(Shamefully, this is the first and so far the only pirate camp level I've been able to solve - the others are very tough puzzles and my brain is, apparently, not in its best condition at the moment. This level, though, requires no thinking, just hours of tedious work.)
