New Level - The Lost Land Expedition 14 (Boss)

This could be the most important part of Stinky's life. He is about to kill the Evil Lost Land Leader and find the real leader.

The reason it took so long is because I spent at least 5 hours purely testing/playing the level. Also, it is pretty hard to make a 30x30 level.

Have fun!!!

The 15th level has been posted, but it is just an epilogue.

Amnon - thanks for playing every single one of my levels and helping me grow as a level maker.

Were there any items left over?

I make it all the way to the end where the spikes are and I just can't collect all the coins without getting shot I feel like I am suppose to set up the reflector so that I push it when the cannon fires and it carries the fire over to the red dude but it never works - Help please.

No, everything was accurately placed with only one way to solve this level.

Sorry, that's the only way. You should push the reflector to the right just a fraction of a second after the fire-ball from the cannon hits it.

Yes. It in fact is the only way. D: I learned this trick from double o welcome

But seriously, I am kicking myself for putting that in.

Next time, you can put a conveyor timer under the reflector and a left-pointing conveyor belt to its right: this way retries are possible.

I was thinking about doing something like that, but then there would be a glitch with the prisms. I never thought of it that way though.

Why? you cannot bring the prisms this way!

I can't even tell you how many times I have made it through and then get to that point and just can't get the timing right and have to start all over - and I was thinking I was finally going to get one of your levels complete but I just can't do it...I have to say though the rest of the level is fantastic.

It is! So perhaps a little revision is called for, with a conveyor-timer under the reflector and a left-pointing conveyor to its right.

I can't get very far with this one at all.
I get the z-bot trapped on the red buttons with 2 boulders to the right of the opening and the red sphere above.

But then it seems that if I want to go anywhere else on the level I have to open the yellow gate which means using the red sphere, which means having the red gates spasmodically closed again.

In any case I can't push the red sphere down on that side and I can't get back past the conveyor.
Completely stuck. :o

Here is the key, Liz, to solving the red-sphere issue: Block the red sphere with the ice-block.

Doh! Why didn't I think of that. Now I'll get a little bit further I hope.

Thanks Amnon :)

That level is truly worthy of the "Boss" title.

I still haven't managed to complete it, but one day I will (hopefully).

Exceedingly difficult, and very clever puzzles.

Thanks for this one LCD. 8)

I just realized that the walkthrough said LCD24. This is supposed to be LCD23. Oops. Oh well, I guess I saved the people that looked at the video and wondered if it was the right one.

This is a terrific puzzle and I would have loved to finish it, yes I know the reflector move near the end, but I missed timed twice (easy to do) and I wasn't going to start all over again.

There is a very easy solution to the dreaded reflector issue that only requires the removal of the spikes at the top of the line of columns. That way if the timing doesn't work Stinky can draw fire while Qookie moves around collecting coins and arranging the cannon. For what it's worth. :D

I like Amnon's idea too, I may have to borrow it for a future level.
