Dim and Dark Bookshelves

My next adventure requires a LOT of bookshelves and a LOT of dim areas. Because of the glowing-bookshelf glitch, this led to several problems. Here's the answer: The dim bookshelf texture! Simply use this as your bookshelf texture in areas with a light level of 50-200 and your library, castle, basement, or abandoned study will look MUCH more realistic.

I've been trying to make a DARK bookshelf texture, for use in areas where there is no light at all, only your lamp or glowgem. Sadly, I can't seem to find a good combination of colors and brightness. I'll keep trying, but feel free to have a go yourself! I'm sure the texture will be used many times in the near future. :D

This took me an HOUR to make! It's nearly invisible in total darkness, but up close it looks a bit weird. It's still distinguishable as a bookshelf, but it just looks a bit TOO dark, in some places.

Can someone put these into a zip file? My computer keeps saving PCPuzzle images as PNG only now.

Oh, they are? Oops. I think you can rename the extension, but I'll upload a new version anyway.

If I go into paint and change the extension to .bmp, the image quality lowers drastically. Changing the extension to .bmp outside of a program does nothing (my computer still considers it a .png image).

Huh, strange issue you're having, but no problem!
