Hello all. I was wondering which WA game the majority of the people liked better. I think WA had a decent learning curve, but MOFI introduced lots of new puzzle elements. I think that I'll go with MOFI.

MOFI

I like the game elements in WA and MOFI. I also like the puzzle elements in the classic trilogy, but I would prefer MOFI (or in general, the WA Trilogy).

Why don't we just round that up to 100%, ok? :D

When POTZ comes out, I'm sure it will be my favourite.

MOFI.

I liked WA, but it was just a bit TOO easy. I know some people find staying on the same adventure for half an hour boring, but I just find it extra playing time. Because of that, MOFI took me over a week longer to complete. It had a better storyline too, I think.

Yeah, WA was quite easy. Possibly because it didn't have all the new elements that MOFI had. If that's the case, imaging what POTZ will be like...

That's also the reason most people cheated half way through MOFI. I don't agree with cheating, as in, cheat codes. It really bugs me when people do that.

No doubts that MOFI was one better for me. I loved the design, the plot and the advs. I hope PotZ will be even better.

Patrick, you get better and better in game making. I won't forgive you if WA3 will be the last WA. I love the series.

I support MOFI. Even if POTZ comes out, I'll still support MOFI because potz has so many space-like elements. Long long ago, I remember telling that potz will have a deviation from the regular earthly-natural wonderland because of space elements. So, I'll still love MOFI forever

I have to disagree with you here, POTZ has many earth-like elements. Some planets are jungles, some others are icy wastelands, and a factory-like planet for example (only one or two) plus the spaceship. So yeah, POTZ's story is most probably more exciting and better than MOFI.

Don't judge a game by the amount of elements it has. Just because a game has fewer elements than another, doesn't mean it's worse or bad.

I have to go with WA. MOFI was excellent, had a better storyline, and new puzzles, but it just didn't feel like Wonderland. The original felt like a true sequel to the original trilogy, as it was meant to be, but, to me, MOFI feels like something separate. Plus, I'm not a very good gamer, so I enjoyed playing WA over MOFI since it was easier. However, it all just boils down to how memorable WA was for me. The moment I first entered a cave, when I discovered the mysterious orange shard, fighting the giant Fireflower, and learning Blink are some of my fondest memories - ever. At the time, I had hardly played any games. The moment I played WA was the moment I became a gamer. I know it sounds strange, but if I could erase all memory I've ever had of one game I've ever played and experience it all over again, it would be WA. To me, no other computer game can touch it, not even MOFI.

I really shouldn't make a post just to say "Thank you," but, considering that I don't get replies about how good my posts are often, I'll make an exception.
Thanks.

I pick MOFI because it has more elements, and because of the better plot.

In WA I got stuck and could not find my way out of an area for a long time
because I had no idea what to do.

I remember MOFI being frustrating in the fun way, in that it was like a puzzle
that was testing me. I also loved the plot

WA, on the other hand, was frustrating in the way in that a piece of gum stuck
to your hair is like. It was a good game, honestly, but it wasn't as good as
MOFI.

Note that these evaluations are based on the first time I played them.

Why didn't MOFI feel like Wonderland?

Other than that, I agree with you on most things. WA definitely had a certain "magic" to it that MOFI didn't. On the other hand, I personally found it WAY too easy.

I think it was how esoteric the new scenery and atmosphere was in MOFI compared to WA. Not to say it was bad, of course. Just somewhat vagary. (why am I using these weird words) Especially in the jungles, dat music....
