541LIZM - Bluebell Blues 2

Hi All

Here's the next frolic in the bluebells.

This level was inspired by one of kaz67's old levels, and I'm posting that level here too so you can replay that if you like.

Enjoy! :D

Bluebell texture if needed:

EDIT:

I messed up big time yet again so the first 20 people to download this may want to download the revised version which works as it should (I hope).

Thanks for the fun.

I played both yours and the original Kazza level.

Kazza's generators were reversed, so the extra ice blocks are not needed.

Well I've made a fool of myself yet again

So I've revised the level so it works as it should.

The first 20 people who downloaded this should download the revised version for it to make any sense at all.

I think I'll go and hang out in Kids Levels for a while!

Hey Liz,

I downloaded the revised edition. Will you please give me a hint as to how to start the second generator?

[Edit] Got it, Liz. I looked at Kaz' spoiler. Thanks for a second level!

Blue Bells and Blue Balls !!!

There was plenty of both to be found!
I must have turned blue as a blueberry

Just like Violet Beauregarde!

Thank you Liz! This was twice the fun! I really enjoyed playing them both. :D

I definitely blew it several times before figuring out the right rolling pattern.
The revised one must be performed correctly to trigger the other generator.

And it was also easier to keep an eye on Loof's Shadow.
That mysterious moving travelator at the end was cool. 8)

So I've revised the level so it works as it should.
It must be extremely laborious to swap everything around. Did you actually do it tile-by-tile, Liz, or do you have some handy tool to swap such large areas around?

I just went back and played Kazaa's "Bulldog" level.
If I hadn't played your level first, I don't think it would have dawned on me what to do.
I kept thinking that it was a prism generator.

Well there's a good reason Karen's last name is "Smart".

Anne - glad you enjoyed the level.

Mark!   Love your pun!
When I first played Kazzie's level I thought that was a prism generator too.

Amnon, I don't have a handy tool to swap large areas around. That would be a really cool addition to the editor. But it wasn't difficult - I just added extra tiles to the right side of the level and copied the left side of the level tile by tile, then deleted that left side. It's not such a large area anyway, so it didn't take very long.

Great to see you back on board again Bob! :D

I've been lying low myself recently - we've had a rather stressful few weeks so I haven't been able to play or make levels. Hopefully I'll climb back soon.
