Everyone's favorite Stinker takes a holiday.
Have fun!

Very cool - I wouldn't call it a Stinker, but rather it's a great piece of art.
Thanks Mark!

Fantastic level, Mark
The beginning, the jumps, sorting out the stuff, the puzzle between the green gates, the exit - fireworks of great ideas, and every spark falls into place.
Thanks for this masterpiece.

Thank you Chip and Amnon for the compliments.
Amnon wrote:Very cool - I wouldn't call it a Stinker
Regarding the title, this is actually not a favorite of mine, nor what I would consider a stinker.
The early prototype used Liz Mayhew's Bluebells texture with the working title "My Favorite Druid".
The title and texture changed as the level evolved, and I presumed Stinky was everyone's favorite Stinker
since Loof, Peegue and Qookie aren't really
Stinky.
Thanks Mark!

Hey Mark,
I believe I have everything set up as intended and am now at the cannon/box part. Will you please tell me what keeps the green timer going and how to do it?
Very fun level so far.

The green timer
is activated by the boulder: Push the boulder right, over the trampoline and follow it close behind, then escape its wrath through the top exit with the teleporter.

Thanks, Mark, for your PM. Either your puzzles are getting easier or I'm getting wiser. Either way, it's a pleasure to figure them out. Thanks so much!
[Edit] I just saw your hint, Amnon. Thank you, also, for your help.

I would say you are correct on both accounts.

Well I don't think your puzzles are getting any easier Mark, but I definitely think my brain is turning to mush.
I've been working on this for a while but from the position shown in the pic I can't jump anywhere sensible - or I can't see how. I also can't see how to cover the dark blue button.

Jump:
Right-Down-Right-Up-Down, then Up.
However,
it seems that your very first move prevented the final jump up, so change it.

Hi Liz,
Your brain is perfectly fine, I know that from all of your ingenious levels.

But you know me, I never do the obvious. Always take the road less traveled.
At the beginning, you are presented with two paths:
one is right and the other one is wrong.
Be sure to choose the
right one.

Thanks so much for the help Amnon and Mark!
Just managed to complete this little stinker.
Excellent fun!
Brilliant level design as usual.
You're being so creative at the moment Mark.
Thank you!

I have tried jumping both ways at the start and I still can't get this one. I will hope for a walk through to see how to complete it. It is a real stinker for me. But it is a good one. I am just not smart enough to get it.
Thanks
Annie

Do you want help with this, Annie, or do you want to wait for the walkthrough?

1st four steps - the way that I did it.
1. Right twice - the green sphere will be destroyed and the boulder will stop by the bonus coin at the bottom.
2. Follow and go through white TP.
3. Push box right and wait for the wonderful movements.
4. Step on light blue button.

I think I got the first part right but I can't out run the green gate to get back to the finish part or figure out how to jump back there either so I need help with that part. I am destroying the cannon with the boulder and trying to run back to my boat.
Thanks

You need to
run over the green timer IN PERSON!

Hey Liz,
How did you get Stinky to make that expression?

Or is that a white mustache he's sporting?

I cut the smile, inverted it, and pasted it back. Voila!

I also arrived in the position shown in the picture.
This is a complex and reactive level; I haven't studied the clues yet.
Have often wondered if I should step right first at the beginning.

I need some help too. I can get the beginning, go right make the jump down to the boxes, get light blue button stepped on. Jump back up to white button then teleporter, put first box in water, go down on ice slide, jump over to breaktile above left of white TP, jump right and up thru upper green TP and push cube in water. Then I slide back on right ice push box down so one hits flame and I jump after it and put the other box on dark blue button and then Im lost. Can't see how to get cannon moved etc...or what to do with boulder.

Here's the Complete Walk-Through for this stinker:
Step R inside boulder.
Jump L + D to bonus coin.
Step L into white TP.
Tramp box R.
Step on aqua button.
Jump R + D + R + U + D on white button.
Jump U on travelator.
Jump U.
Push box L into water and take bonus coin.
Slide D ice and take coin on tramp.
Jump L + L onto break-tile.
Step U and tramp R + U.
Push goob U into water.
Slide D ice and tramp box D + L.
After box is destroyed, tramp L + D.
Step L into TP and jump R.
Push cannon 1 L to destroy both boxes and z-bot.
Push cannon 2 L and wait for green gate to close.
Push cannon L below the green gate.
As the cannon fires, step R on green timer and U into green TP.
Slide metal box U into water.
Slide D ice and jump L + D.
Without stopping, roll boulder R and follow.
Enter the green TP and walk all the way U.
Transport D + L + U + R + U + L.
Take coin and push last box all the way D.
Jump D.
When boulder rolls R, tramp cannon U.
Quickly step D and wait for boulder to return.
Tramp boulder U to destroy cannon.
Step on green timer, run L, jump U and keep going before gates close.
Transport R + D to island.
Push metal box D into water.
Step up on travelator and go U + D + L + D + R.
Tramp metal box U into water.
Take last coin and transport L + U + R to exit.

I don't know how I missed this level, it wasn't in my 'to do list'
I was stuck at the beginning for awhile but some experimentation led to a solution, then lots of tramping.
Fun one Mark, thanks!
