The Wonderland Board

I was considering starting a Wonderland fanfiction today when I realized that I can't think of a proper place to write one in. I could make a topic, but if I wanted to write in chapters, other people would either mingle their stories with mine in a topic (confusing for everyone) or make a topic per person (crowded).

I would like to request to MS, when you have time, to maybe add a 'Wonderland Fanfiction' forum to the General Wonderland category?
Then, we could have a specific area for writing fanfictions only and have only topics for each fanfiction.

Or, if anyone knows to, make a separate board for Wonderland fanfiction?

Just an idea.

What about having a separate section for fanworks in general? As in, like, writing, art, music, fangames, etc?

Levels/Adventures would still go in their respective categories, of course.

You know, it would be cool if Patrick somehow made fan fiction into a crowd source for his next game.

No guys, no fanfiction for WA3. The last thing we need is for WA3's plot to get clogged up with fanfiction.[/see i really was grumpy all along]

Having said that, I do think that kind of thing is best left to custom adventure sets.

For now, the off-topic forum is enough. Given the low amount of fan-made content we have, I don't see the need of a dedicated forum yet.

I agree. Custom adventures pretty much serve the purpose for Wonderland-based storytelling. I can't think of a whole lot that can happen in a Wonderland fanfiction that couldn't already be done to some extent in custom adventures anyway.

True, but the purpose of custom adventures isn't as much to tell the story. It's more about the puzzle/action/adventure. Fan fiction would focus more on the story itself, where you can easily read it instead of having to go through some challenge at the end of each page.

Well, I think it's a mix of both. (:|

But I started this because I think having a proper forum would encourage actual fanfictions, and maybe then we could see if wee needed it. If we don't, the forum could be locked or deleted. It's worth a shot trying, and I do have some ideas already.

People are encouraged to start their fanfiction in this forum or in the off-topic forum.
