WAPOTZ - Scritter Slide

Oh my God, this level...
I have tried every single path I can think of, but I still can't get the scritter to the other side of that lake! It just seems impossible! Help?

You need to make sure the scritter goes onto a path that you want it to go in.
Try "changing the level" a bit.
I hope that wasn't too vague.

I know that I have to step over the ice floats in the bottom-right corner of the lake, but I can't see any way to return to the scritter without being unable to cross myself.
