Hello, yesterday i bought and installed Secret Worlds on my computer, but faced a strange problem that i'd never seen before. See pic below:

As you can see, there scratches over nearly every letter, on basically the whole game(happens in main menu and first level, all i managed to complete with this bug). I tried downloading it again, un-installing, installing, changing resolution, window mode, everything, but the problem just doesn't want to go away. Any solution for this?

Yes, I have the same exact problem as you. I wrote to Patrick Maidorn who couldn't figure it out.
I deduced the problem occurs with certain Nvidia Graphics Card.

Sorry, I don't know of any fix for the problem.

I'm having the exact same bug, actually.

I'm just about certain it's something to do with GeForce/NVIDIA cards. At first I thought it was something in the game getting corrupted (as it only happens for WSW on this computer), but after reinstalling it the same behaviour is present.

Copy-paste from a reply Patrick sent me regarding the issue:
Midnight Synergy wrote:Oh, I'm convinced it's the Geforce - something about certain cards in that series just doesn't like Wonderland. Some years back I tried everything I could think of to change the code in WSW - no luck! :(
... So I guess the best we can do is hope there's a driver update or something that fixes the issue.

I also got a GTX670, hard to be a coincidence x)
Anyways, i will try to find any drive that works with the game

Its as if the font itself has a physics engine. One thats glitching. Also Welcome Winks.

Physics engine... No, not really.

I figure what it is is that the font, and most particles, are rendered as 2D sprites. For some reason, the font (and likely a few particles as well, I've noticed wood box particles acting strange as well) "particles" are getting distorted - I've noticed that if you use shift and the arrow keys to scroll the camera around, the font sometimes gets "stretched" in the direction the camera's moving.

If that's the case, try changing the graphics quality settings in the options menu. It affects the "MaxParticles" parameter and could potentially make things work, though some graphics will look slightly poorer.

Otherwise, I have no idea what to do.

I've tried messing about with that option too, no dice.

No I mean it looks as if it is a 3D 'Jelly' of sorts.
