JA:HOTSP Alpha Testers

Hello!

I have returned with the announcement that Version Alpha is approximately 90% done!
If any body would like to playtest this beforehand, please do let me know.

Though, I'd honestly not be too surprised if you'd want to keep the experience as a whole.

Because of this, I don't want alpha testers to give away any information except to me via private message.

All so note that this is actually very close to where my old game ended, except...
well, this one's more balanced. :P

At least, I think it is...

and, it all so seems to be over-all neater.

I hope you enjoy!

Usually I prefer to stay away from testing games because I just want to play them the way they're intended to be played. However, usually within the first few hours of the game, I've already accidentally run into many nasty bugs.

Since I'm bored this week and don't have a ton to do, I could be a tester, if only for my affinity of accidentally discovering glitches. :)

Chances are I am gonna find some glitches that just break the game. Like the save glitch where the camera doesn't follow, you have 0 red charges but can still use them, and when you do, it crashes the game, and arrows don't work.

I'm still on break, and I'm sick so I have lots of spare time. I'd be glad to help you.

Don't worry, I've only gotten to Pop, Pow, and Null. :D

I would love to help testing! :D
I think I can be more of a help in the field of dialogue, plot, hub and design, as I am very good at these fields and pretty bad as a puzzler  But these fields are still super important 8)

Well, as version alpha is only including the first two worlds, I think you might be able to solve most-every level.

What does the JA stand for? Jutomi Adventures?

Basically, yeap.

Adventures made by me.

They don't actually seem to have much to do with Wonderland itself, at this point; just some sign planet.

P.S. I only have four more to go. :D

If you don't mind me asking, 4 more what? Levels?

Three more now, and yes, levels.

Good news, I created an other level; I think I'll have this done by tomorrow.

Now, out of you, would you rather I pre-alpha tested this, just to make sure the bare essentials are in place, or would you rather find even those for yourself, and gain access to it strait away?
I am presuming the first one, but I'd like to ask, any ways. :D
Oh, and just so you know, there are a lot of rather unusual stories in this hub that either:
1. Intermingle with each other in such a way that reminds you of a saga
or...
2. Are interesting events that have nothing to do with any thing else.

I am hoping you'll find this interesting.

At least for me.

Well, if I go through with this, just be warned that I am probably the person who's worst at making arrows to other levels. :?

Oh yeah, I change my mind about being an alpha tester. I'm going to be pretty busy in the coming weeks, sorry.

Oh, that's fine, Kooky. :D

At least this way, you'll get to witness the surprise in fuller volume.

I'll beta test I guess. I now have a decentish amount of time on my hands, so I might even be able to get back to you with my results.

If you guys are really lazy, (like me), you could just use PowerWop and edit the arrows, and save 8 arrows pointing towards each direction. :P That way you can have presets for every arrow, and there's no need to use the clunky Yawadjust.
Also, I won't be able to Beta-test, sorry.

Oh, my problems not with the directions; I actually got the hang of that easily.

The problems I have are a matter of:

1. Remembering the x and y coordinates.
2. Not mixing the coordinates up.
3. Making sure that I changed the level number.
4. Making sure I didn't accidentally click instead of shift click or vice versa.
5. Changing the coordinates if I change the size of the level.
6. Forgetting to put the arrow in at all.
7. Not even editing the arrow.
8. I right clicked on an arrow without noticing.
9. I clicked on the wrong arrow.
10. I misread the coordinates.
11. I put in the coordinates of where the arrow goes instead of where it goes to.
12. I can't even find the arrow in the wa editor because I've added so many broken mods to it.
13. Thinking I added or modified something, but didn't.
14. Forgetting to click "Save and exit" instead of "Cancel and exit".
15. I am too lazy to fix it, and wish to do it later, but keep forgetting, much like how I forget to take the glove out of the level so that you don't get infinite glo...
oops... err - never mind...

Fantabulous news!
All of the actual levels and hubs are made for version alpha!

I still have to link them up to the hub, and make 100% certain that the arrows are hooked up, correctly, but...

I think I might be able to get alpha done, today. :D

Though, again, if you'd rather wait until I have played through once, feel free to wait. :)

All right!

Triple posting here because I am releasing the pre-alpha version of the hub I have created.

Each of the alpha testers will recieve a pre-alpha version, to which seems to work well up until the first "different" world - and that's as far as I gotten as of now.

Do please note that this first release will only go to Koopson, unless any body else would like to go for pre-alpha; Full Alpha will be done once I've played through the entire thing.

Sorry for the wait, but I just want to make sure every thing is working properly.

Well, the time's finally come when I can deliver each of you guys a copy of full version alpha.

This means that all of the important(to my knowledge) bugs are gone, and your duty is to inform me as to how you like it, if there are spelling errors, if you want any thing changed, if the levels are unbalanced, if they're not fun, if they are fun, if they are fair, if there are ways to die in the hub, if you enjoyed it as a whole, or if you even got to it in the first place.

I wish you luck, and take your time.
If you need help, please do PM me; you can share the information with others, but would you want to spoil the surprise? :D

They shall slowly be sent out by the day after this post.
To find that out, for people like me, look in the little grey section above my post.

P.S. If you don't want or can't test any more, feel free to say so.

All right, so, apparently sending it via private message is too much... :?

I'll post it here, but please do notice that this is not the full hub - play at your own risk of spoiling something that might be amazing, otherwise.
