New Level (Adv) - Break The Sword

I pondered the fact that I use boulders in almost all of my levels, and decided to make a box puzzle instead. With a little of my weird design flair, of course. :P

The chompers are there to give you a second to think before charging in. I would tell you all not to use the chompers in the puzzle solution, but I'm pretty sure it's impossible for both them and you to survive. Let me know if you find some other way to solve this puzzle that seems unintended (extra boxes outside gates, etc.).

Please download janetgalle's awesome "BoilerRoom" texture for this one! I built the aesthetics around it.

Enjoy! :D

WOW Theo!!!

This is one of the best puzzles you've done! :D
Such an incredible imagination you possess! 8)
The sheer simplicity makes it so challenging!

Thank you again, my friend. :)

None that I can see, and that's what makes it so perfect! 8)

Straight forward - but what a great level. Thanks!

Hi Theo
In the beginning Stinky used a risky move to sort out his equipment, but after this he finished the adventure using his wits.
Playing this level gave me the same feeling as playing one of Patrick's 'classics'. Thanks a lot for this humdinger. :D

Thanks a bunch everyone! :D

I wanted to make a level with no hidden walls. So I used fake walls with flowers in them as a prop, and tried to make the level fairly straightforward (like Amnon said). I'm glad you all enjoyed it and thought it was good. :)

At first I thought these were wood box generators, so I spent way too long trying to get all three boxes out.

It's a nice level, everything fits together quite well.

I was able to keep one chomper alive, but I have no idea what would I do with him, so I just did the level properly instead.

I was able to keep a chomper alive, at first, too; and then I had to destroy him using the green gate.

Theox...
I don't think I've ever spent so much time on one level that wasn't my own, before.

This was absolutely beautiful...

and, even after not only figuring out how, but doing it, I managed to forget to collect two of the coins.

So, thanks, for making a horrifying puzzle that made my mind less numb.

Oh, also...
did your solution involve puzzle, action, or both?
I used both. :?

Thanks for playing, you two! I'm amazed that both of you were able to keep a chomper alive! How did it get through the fire?

I used both, and judging from the other posts here, I'm thinking that everyone else did too (as was my intention).

I'd like to post a level solution like Mark does, but I don't remember what screen capture software to use. :?

Hi Theo,

It's called BandiCam and the free version allows you to record up to 10 minutes:

Thanks for playing, Bob! Glad you made it out successfully!

Update on the video recording: Turns out I can't run Bandicam on my computer because I have the Japanese language installed. It says "Bandicam cannot run on Japanese Windows". (I don't have Japanese windows, just Japanese language) - looks like I need to look for an alternative.

Hi Theo,

This appears to be a Japanese version of BandiCam: http://www.gomplayer.jp/bandicam/
