Here's one last adventure before I go on vacation.
Thanks to Liz Mayhew for her BattyCastle texture.

Starring Loof, everyone's favorite goof.
Have Fun :)MARK318

Should have called this level 'red herrings in the belfry'

I did have it all worked out except getting the coin behind the green gate, I needed a hint for that. :(

Still...good fun, thanks Mark!

Hi Bob,

It's funny you should say that, and your title is definitely more appropriate. :D

The title of this level was my most difficult problem.
And I had several other names picked out including:
  • Mysterious Castle

    The Sound of Thunder

On the Wings of a Bat

    Going Bats in the Belfry

    A Ding-A-Ling in the Belfry
And I'm really not really happy with the current title since "Ding-Dong" can mean different things to different people.
But what's in a name? A rose by any other name would smell just as sweet, or stinky in this case.

But you were the first to solve it, and gauging by its reception... it might be another "Means to an End".

I'm just happy it didn't require any special timing or fast moves. :)

This one took me many many hours.

However you manage to make these nearly-impossible levels, Mark, you certainly deserve a good vacation now.

Thanks!

To me, at my age, it means "AVON Calling!"

Hi Bob,
My intention was for Loof to be the "Ding-Dong" or "Fool" since that is his name spelled backwards.
The "Ding-Dong" would also refer to the bells in the belfry, and not a Hostess pastry or slang term.

This was a beautiful solution, Mark! :D

To be honest, I did get pretty much every step right, just in the wrong order...
the scauge proved to be most baffling. :(

I thank you for the lovely solution.
Also, is this welcome back from your vacation?

You are most welcome, Jutomi. :)

Yes, I am officially back from my vacation.
Since I have some catching up to do, I'm not sure when I'll be crafting a new puzzle.

Hi Mark
I spent hours to find a ding or a dong or a ding-dong in this level, but I never succeeded.
What a conundrum and what a stunning solution! Thanks for both, my friend. Again you made the impossible... Well, possible.
