Due to health, I will be taking an extended break from level-making.
Meanwhile, please enjoy this tribute to Kiki, the Master of the Game.
Happy Gaming!

Sorry to hear about your health, Mark.
I believe that there is a problem with this level making it undoable: PM sent.

Hi Amnon,
Believe it or not, it can be solved and without a single glitch.
But to master the game, you'll need to think outside the box.

Hi Mark
Thanks for this tribute to Kiki.
All the best, my friend, get well soon.

Oh my goodness, Mark...
I can't tell if your levels have gotten a
lot harder
or if I'm losing my practice.
Sorry about not being very active recently, though;
There have been a lot of things I've been in need to do recently. ._.
I do hope you get better soon.

And again, sorry if I can't figure this one out;
I'm even considering watching the solutions to Chip's levels at my rate.

So sorry to hear about that, Mark. I hope things start looking up for you real soon. I can't solve a lot of your puzzles, but I sure love trying and I'm gonna miss seeing new ones around here. But I hope you'll still feel up to being on the forum to talk at least. Best wishes, Deb

I'll keep positive thoughts my best for a speedy recovery.

I haven't solved the level yet, but I wish you all the best. Health problems are an awful thing and I wish you a speedy recovery.

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts.
It's ironic that my last one would be the first one nobody can solve.
Here are a few hints to master the game:
The reflector and the prism can be used interchangeably.
The chomper and the kaboom have more than one purpose.
The coin on the tramp can be taken at the beginning or end.
The white TP is necessary for producing apples on the tree.

Hi Mark,
It's ironic that my last one would be the first one nobody can solve.
Nevertheless, there are interesting moves there which I enjoyed so far.
Now you should understand that we need more time for hard levels like this: I'm not giving up, but it occurred in the past that the

came 6 months later and meanwhile I was very busy, including testing Chip's and Muzo's levels, so just because nobody finished this in 3 days doesn't mean it's of no value.

Hi Amnon,
Now you got me curious. What level took you six months to figure out?

Believe it or not, it can be solved and without a single glitch.
Surely that trick with the black TP counts as one? I couldn't make any progress at all (past the green spheres) until I remembered that magical quirky move from "Mandatory Fun", after which it started making a little bit more sense. Still thinking, though...

Hi Muz,
I agree with you about the black TP's. My reply was to Amnon's private message stating the generator was impossible to start.
There's more than one way to do the puzzles here, but only one way to start the generator which does not involve any glitches.

I believe I know how to start the generator... I just need to figure out how to get back there and still retain enough objects for everything else. There seems to be only one way to get back, so it's just a question of doing things in the correct order...

Sorry, it's been many years ago, so I can't remember, but I think it was one of yours!

OK, made some reeeeeeal tangible progress. I'm on the wrong side of the spheres, if you know what I mean. Maybe just moving fast will help - if not, then I'll have to think things through a bit more thoroughly. I didn't plan ahead well enough to realize that I might
need fast movement, so being stuck on the wrong side caught me off-guard.
There are some fiendishly clever moves there which are highly enjoyable to figure out. So far, it's been a fantastic ride.

Congratulations Muz, you started the generator!

You're coming closer to crossing that finish line!

With a few confirmations of something silly that I pretty much figured out on my own but spent way too long doing so...
I DID IT!!! And I believe I'm the first one to solve this amazing level -- unless Amnon has already solved it and simply forgot to give a report.
Fantastic, Mark. Just fantastic. I really fell out of the Wonderland loop recently due to university and other stuff like that. Fortunately, I was still "in shape" enough to solve this and it felt great. Even though I kept making the silliest mistakes and having to restart, but it did come together in one final smooth run.
Very,
very clever and extremely convoluted with no room to put one foot out of place.

There are some variations that the level accepts, but outside those variations, if you make just
one tiny mistake, it's over. Planning ahead and paying attention even when it looks like you've won is absolutely mandatory.
That generator trick is one of my favorites -- and the misdirection is so eerily perfect. No wonder Amnon even thought there was a mistake -- it really does look like a mistake in the design, but it's not a mistake, the level is just that clever.

And the way you have to free the chomper is just wizard-like in its elegance.
The best part about this level is that every step is surprising and offers something new. This is not easily achieved in puzzle design and is something I truly value. Thank you, Mark. It was an amazing, amazing ride. You really are the Master of the Game.

I thought this would be another one of those which would take me 6 months to solve.
But I did finally made it... second to Muzo.
All I missed was this brilliant move that killed the red spheres.
This level will go down in history, however Kiki never made such sophisticated tricks as this. thanks!
Now back to Muzo's sokoban...

Hi Muz,
I'm happy you were able to solve it!

And also that you enjoyed playing it.
Even if only one person solves this,
It was well worth the time I spent.
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy school schedule to play.
EDIT:
Amnon wrote:I did finally made it... second to Muzo.
Hi Amnon,
Two in one day! I'm happy you were able to cross that finish line! :D
Unfortunately, there are no prizes. But hopefully it was rewarding.

I must be doing something wrong right at the start but I haven't figured out a way to save the chomper and the cannon it's one or the other. As to how the generator operates, beats me, not there yet.

Posted: Fri Apr 03, 2015 7:17 pm
by Muzozavr
You don't need to save the cannon -- if you do everything else right, you can sacrifice the cannon if you know how.

by bob roest
I've managed to get the chomper out but I had to sacrifice the reflector.
Now the generator...
edit: wait a minute, you're right Muzo, I don't need the cannon but I do need the prism and the reflector and I think I see what the white tp is for.
Back soon, fingers crossed.
double dog edit: Done! I got caught behind the white gate once and covering the blue button took a little thought but everything fell into place. Quite a workout Marcus.
Thank-you,

The Final Solution
Just realized it was ten years ago this month I designed my first level.
It has been a pleasure entertaining you with a decade of magic shows.
So many tricks and misdirections, under so many different names.
I want to thank everyone for attending, participating, and your applause.
Maybe someday when I'm in a better place, I will reinvent myself again.
Until then,
Happy Easter! :D
