New Level - The Spring Palace
New Level - The Spring Palace
This level got kinda out of hand as I was working on it and the end result turned out sort of crazy.
Hopefully you'll enjoy it!

This level was extremely hard even without doing it as intended - I hate to consider whether I would have finished it in time (15 minutes) had I did it as intended.
I did not enter the left-bottom room.
I did not touch the reflector near the two gates (so I didn't need to cover them either).
I did not cover the conveyor button (though I understand what it is for!)
Still it was great fun!!!

Hmm, I'll see if I find your way... When you say reflector near the two gates, do you mean the blue and cyan gates or red and yellow gates?
Time isn't a huge issue though, I can solve it with > 4 minutes left. I probably go very quickly though considering I've played it so much.

Re: New Level - The Spring Palace
Hey Maxnick;
hoof, this one was intimidating
Like Amnon I probably didn't solve this as intended (I wound up with a spare powder keg in the upper right room, somehow!
), but I think I solved it "close enough"... I hope
(Worth noting I also didn't touch the keg on the spring in the top room either
) It was still an involved and creative complex. The upper room giving me a spare box was just what I need it; I tried it a round before and managed to have just enough material, having forgotten the upper section entirely
Definitely I've grown to prefer smaller levels - less overwhelming and less prone to alternate solutions or things-going-horribly-wrong (take it from a hundred-odd levels of experience
), but this was nonetheless a pleasure to solve; lots of planning and really neat little ideas that played into each other. Only took me about 40-odd minutes in the end.
And, of course, my video solution~. Has been a pleasure playing through your levels, new and semi-old. (Hopefully old too
) Hope to see more from ya down the road.
