In hindsight, I feel like this should not have taken me nearly as long as it did, but after breaking the previous two versions with alt solutions, I feel like I tunnel visioned too hard on... something.

A very nice design, with a simple idea executed in a way not commonly seen. Had me confused for such a long time despite its minimalistic simplicity. Tunnel visioning or no tunnel visioning, this really is trickier to figure out than it looks, even if the actual solution isn't so complex in retrospect.

(Although I still like my solution to version 2 that was briefly there)
