We can, in fact, say it's only a half.

Can be solved rather quickly by elimination -- work backwards from what you need to achieve. Probably would be very difficult in a level with more stuff. A neat trick.

I honestly thought that was intended!

Was watching Cookie streaming it on Discord and one of his failed attempts (he did later find both solutions) gave me the idea to try out a different solution, so then I asked MNIK which solution was intended.

My comment about elimination still applies, but the level is a bit harder than it was before.
