If the haunted castle (the same one as creepy keep in POTZ) is the one we all know and love, what was the original one?

I have always wanted to know the answer to this.

If I had to guess:
1. It's a completely different track than what we have now.
Or, most likely,
2. The one we have now is just a tweaked/fine-tuned version of the original one.
Maybe there were some notes or instruments that needed last minute adjustments.
