New Level - A Deadly Pool of Brine

This idea randomly came to me while playing one of Cat's levels. If you're at all familiar with Cat's levels, you'll know there's no reason for me to have this epiphany. Hopefully the idea's forced!

This level uses a custom level texture by Clifford, called 8. I couldn't find the actual download for it anywhere, so I included it here, but it is in the master collection as well as Mette's texture resource page. Turns out, it was a copy/paste (of some sort) of Loirae's Pickle Texture! (I swear I searched for "pickle" in custom content and got nothing.) So thanks to Loirae for making this, even though I ended up using "8" instead. (Thanks to Clifford anyway cause I honestly wouldn't have used this otherwise!)

Name inspired by the levels(-to-be) A Pool of Water, Deadly Pool of Lava, and Pickles.
The pickles are disturbed. Enjoy!

Edit: Since nobody downloaded it yet I made a tiny adjustment to the level. Turns out you can at least still cycle through the level files by deleting and readding one file at a time!)

Worth noting that this level is not at all as on-the-rails as I'd hoped it would be - not even close, in fact  As such I can't really recommend it, although you're still welcome to play it as is is now. Hopefully I'll have a new one out with a similar concept at some point.

Wow, that was a torture and took me a few days, but it is now done!

Thanks!!!

Torturous indeed. Fortunately it's not too rough if you can eyeball a specific point the z-bots ought to be when you perform certain maneuvers... but you're not wrong, it is pretty difficult to pull off, assuming you do figure out what you need to do. :P

My video solution~ The brine is full.

Oh... that's insane...

Aaaah I was worried adding in those white teleporters would create an absurd alternate solution somehow. didn't think it'd be this wild though  (though I guess compared to mine...)

[Nevermind the fact that I forgot you could just use the white teleporter to get that coin above the fire shadow stinker ]

Ah, alas. 'Tis what I get for trying to add a red herring (one that's still indirectly useful in my solution). Didn't think actually filling in the water right away would've been sensible but... in hindsight, it'd have still been so absurd as to have been interesting  (And honestly I think this solution might've still worked, never thought about just killing the z-bots with gates in the first place :o

Overall a good solve. Not sure if there IS a practical way to force the maneuver I attempted to enforce here :P But I'll be sure to squeeze it into my upload schedule... somehow

Uploaded your video solution as well. :P

Aaaah... I'm really gonna have to come back to this concept. Not sure it bears replacing - I could just create a new, similar level to actually do what this one was trying to do (albeit better). But for now I'm fine letting it rot in its brine. :P
