Hi all,

I think it would be a good idea with a sticky thread in the general discussion titled 'Things that are good to know' or something like that. It should contain JG's excellent tutorial on how to download CustomModels, the adress for my web site (if it suites you) in a .jpg file and other relevant information that might come along in time. I remember Popo talking about making a 'How to make a model tutorial web site' for instance.

To keep this new sticky thread from getting too long and confusing it could be made 'locked' or something so only Patrick can post there. When something new comes along, which is deemed 'sticky-worthy' by the general public, Patrick would have to evalutate it and decide if it should be posted there or not.

What do you think?

Let's use this thread for suggestions, just reply with the link to any posts that you feel would be appropriate. I'll create a sticky and append these posts in a day or so. That sticky thread will be locked, so whenever someone wants to add something, they can either find this thread and reply in it, or pm me.

Just one question - should this be a separate sticky, or should I make this as Part 2 of the "READ FIRST" announcements at the very top?

I also will be doing some redesign on the main Midnight Synergy website over the next month or so - one planned new addition is a better support/faq system, that will also incorporate some of these issues.

I think it should be a seperate sticky. Another suggestion for a title could be 'Helpful tips'.

I agree with the above. Mette's site should be 1 "Sticky" and another one for Helpful Tips (or whatever title).

I agree with the others, Patrick. Keep it as a separate "sticky". I guess you could call it READ SECOND-Helpful Hints.

Great idea. I'm not sure if a post can be edited indefinitely. If it can, I suggest that Mette's jpg with her comments always be the first post in this thread. This way the thread doesn't grow to pages unless there really is something different in there.

In other words, Mette's updates would be text and could replace her latest update comments.
