Need Help with Cat's Zip Files

Please can someone put Cat's zip files into something that will open like JG's or Shorty's rather than the format they are in as I cannot (computer ignoramous that I am) unzip them successfully (my computer doesn't allow me to create new folders or I'm messing up - more likely). Please help, as I feel like I'm really missing out here.
Sorry to be a bother

I had a terrible time with this too. Read the post called Question for Janet Gall re Zip files. You'll find it about May 19th (last posted date).

I'm not quite sure how to post a link to it, but maybe this will work.

Hope it helps. I got there eventually.

Outstanding! Glad to hear it Superterv.

And you're right, it makes things a lot nicer when you can appreciate
the hard work someone has put into a project.

I also wanted to thank you Roger for putting these files into folders for downloading -- I couldn't get mine to open either and it sure would have been a shame to have missed the models & houses in this level. Cat did a SUPER JOB :!: :!:

Thanks Roger from me too.

I had a terrible time previously with the Wonderpets files.

On this one - from your downloads - the floor tiles worked just fine, but I was still having some problems with the houses. I think it might have been because the spelling was different. Would that have caused some of the problems?

You'll realize that my basic computer skills are very almost non-exsistent.

It even took me a l-o-o-ng time to figure out how to read the tiny print ! ! ! ! ! ! I just ain't too bright - sometimes.

Ann - you're right. The house name in the level is spelled KAAZAVSLILLIANH (2 'a's instead of 2 'z's).

If you know how to rename a folder, you can do it through Windows
Explorer. Otherwise, I'll fix that and re-upload the houses zip file.

UPDATE - I just changed the KAZZAVSLILLIAN houses file.
If you downloaded it earlier, download it again. Thanks.

Sorry all I will not be making anymore levels with zip files. Just plain simple levels.
I hope you understand. I waltz in here to find my zip files. I thought all was ok but I guess it wasn't. Until I learn to zip files correctly I will not be making any special levels. :( :o

NO, NO NO, Kathy.

Please don't quit, your levels are so pretty, and I know you must put an awful lot of time into making them.

This is all a learning experience, and you should never give up while you're learning something new - even though I'm a fine one to talk, I haven't made a levels yet, but I promise I will one day, soon, maybe.

Another thing, as you read the various posts around the board, notice how many people are so quick to give help, and also the offer of more help if it's needed.

We're all friends here, Kathy, and I'm sure every one of us would be sad if you were to limit your creativity to the more simple stuff. Be brave and give it a go. You'll get it right and then we'll all be happy for you - and for us as well as we enjoy your new, improved, enhanced, super-duty beautiful levels.

Hang in there Kathy - we're all with you and eagerly awaiting to see more of you.
