I hate to be always griping, but does anyone else finds the new paperclip icons for indicating file attachments rather clunky? I like the old tiny "LEV" thing better.

Not that it'll matter I suppose, usually when I see a new level posted, a few seconds later I won't be reading the forums anyway.

I'd have to agree, I liked the LEV a lot better......but then I'm 'old school' and don't like change very well.

Me too!

We had to change the "Lev" icon, since people started posting screenshots and other attachments. So posts without a Level still had the "Lev" icon, and a more generic icon was required to avoid possible confusion.

I actually like the paper clip, although I also miss the old Lev icon. Sniff! Oh well, the icons, they are a-changing!

Why not use one of the emoticons? You know like a happy face or the exclamation point. The paper clip doesn't do justice to the rest of the page, it looks a little out of place.

Well here's my 2 cents....

You should leave the level icon for the levels, and the paper clip for screenshots and other attatchments.

Doesn't that make more sense? You know lev=level?

We sure like to complain don't we?

Yeah, that would be best, but unfortunately I can only use one generic "attachment" icon for the entire forum. Hence the paperclip.
