Edit: Thanks for all the comments. I really do have a mem problem and that's why I need someone else to test a level of this size for me. So, if you're willing to give it one more try, I'd be more than happy. :) Level reloaded, I reduced the number of coins to... you'll see. :D Thanks again :D

test run #3 posted, found a box mistake at stinky's last room. why are they so hard to figure in the editor?

my first level, but rather large and a little tricky. I'm just looking for some volunteers to help test it, I have a mem stick issue I know about that lets me create the level, but won't run it faultlessly.

thanks a lot, guys.

Hello - I am afraid that I got a memory violation and it shut down my game too. You probably have added too many things on the level. There are about 600 coins/bonus coins to collect - that is probably too many. Plus you have quite a lot of chompers and stuff in there!

Take some of the things out and it should be fine

If you need any help doing this - just let me know and I'll try and sort it out for you.

Well done for making a level - I look forward to playing your level when you have sorted it out a bit

Just for the record, more than 100 of anything causes memory problems, and 100 of a few things at once will probably do the same.

You can get away with more than 100 coins if you don't have much else in there at the same time.

Keep taking a few things out and trying the game until you get no memory problems. :D

Hi Anniikka,

I didn't have any problems playing the level to begin with allthough everything was very jittery. I started playing and then I came across a weird situation. Coins and timers that do not rotate and can't be picked up by walking into them! :? The game crashed shortly after. :o

As far as I can tell you have put some really nice elements together, but the level is either just too big or has too many objects in it. Instead of stripping a lot of stuff out of this one, you could also consider using the different parts of this level as many smaller levels. That way we will still benefit from all your work (and even more so  )

And by the way... welcome to the forum :D :D :D

I had the same thing happen as mette!! I would go to get the coins and they were just frozen there.. I got through just about all of the first part when this happened!!!!

I think that metter had a good idea, Breaking each section into a smaller level sounds like a very good idea to me and I look forward to playing your level(s)!!! :D :D

Thank you all guys & gals, for all the tips and offers to help and and and :)

I wouldn't like to break this one up, only if I have no other choice and it's still too big. Was already a pain to take out all the coins, some were really vital (for me too, I love coins, and the sound collecting them makes) So, just give it one more go if you feel like it :)

Now it seems to work. Didn't succeed to finish yet, but will try again later.
Looks like a lot of work for Stinky, Loof, Qookie and Peegue  :? :D

WELCOME to the forum, Anniikka!

From what I could tell, it seems to work now. However, I agree with Mette and Shorty. This would be better if broken down into smaller levels. It is just too big. Like Lutz said, " it is a lot of work" for the four characters. When one gets killed, you have to start all over again. That's OK with a smaller level, but with a big level like this one, it means a lot more time and work.

Maybe split it into 4 levels. One each for each character.

I also look forward to more of your levels. Keep up the good work! :D

Poor old Stinky needs a rest - Callosities at his hands, blisters at his feet. But all four made it to the exit (just leaving a few bonus coins  )

Thanks for the fun :D

I find it is just too big (even now), and my computer protests. It looks a good, but I agree split it somehow please.

Hey, Anniikka;

Hoof, 2005. I'm sure my comments will be irrelevant, but I recorded this so

I'm not a fan of huge levels. But I figured this one'd be a laugh to have a go at, and it seemed relatively approachable as far as large levels go.

Hoo boy...

Well, it was quite a repetitive workout - and a basket case of anxiety - and the two things combined made me come just a bit short of the time limit

Miiiiight try this again, but half an hour indeed turned out to not be enough time for me   Aside from the excess of box pushing though, not too bad. Wouldn't recommend for someone's first time though :P

My video solution~ Or... at least my video of my 97% completed solution   Hope you enjoy :P
