I just thought I ought to let all level makers know that if I am not commenting on levels don't get the face on. :P

I AM NOT not commenting because I don't like you or your levels, I AM not commenting because I have stopped playing Wonderland. I haven't played it for a couple of months now. Just lost interest.

I still like reading the forum though, so don't stop posting will you?

Hey popo,
I am amazed to find myself in the same boat. I read the forum everyday, continue to download all the new levels, but can't seem to make myself play them. Many are too difficult, and I just don't have the patience (or the time) to play them over and over for hours.
I am still collecting/working on models, but then, I can't think of how to use them in a level.
So I guess I am in semi-burnout mode.
I am off on vacation starting on Sunday. Will spend about 10 days at the Lake, just vegging out. (And painting the cabin, and building a new dock...)
A little birdie tells me I am getting a NEW LAPTOP for my birthday tomorrow.....so maybe I can do some level making when I am done painting....... .
Hope you are feeling better and the MDs can find a way to give you some relief.

Hellooo ... this seemed as good a place as any to "comment" ...

Please be assured I download and play everything but generally only comment when i've completed a level or finally wave the white flag. I'm doing 2 jobs just now and I'm quite pushed for leisure time so if you don't hear from me on the Custom Levels forum .. I'm still scratching my head over your puzzlers :P

Keep em coming folks ... I defo have a day off at the end of August :D

Popo ... hope you feeling better soon hon
Janet ... have a fab holiday, I'm hoping for a lap top too, must work on hubby some more

Same thing Popo and Kaz, I only post on the ones I complete, and they are few and far between these days.
I love looking at them, but most are way beyond my skills

Have been slowly working my way through Carolyn's Classic levels.
They're OK to play, but I must admit I miss the generators. I think I like those best of all.

Speaking for myself - because I haven't done it yet - maybe we need some more new creators,
who will plan to start simple, so us old folks can play (and win) again.
Not too simple, but not too fast and complicated either. Some of the new levels posted are wonderful,
and I wish I could play them.

        I commend you all, you are brilliant

Popo and JG, I can understand being burned out, but please stick around and chat with us. We enjoy you whether you play or not! Maybe after a little break, you can enjoy the levels again. And JG, I love your models, you really have a talent there.

Like you all, I've only commented on the levels I can finish. Although I've gotten braver about asking for help now. I noticed in the locked thread that several people mentioned that a lot of the hints are only given in PMs rather than on the level's thread. I too would like to see the hints posted on the thread in white-out rather than by PM. Then when newbies come on and play the levels, help is there for them months or years after the level was created. It would also help some of us oldies. When this was discussed before, the creators said it would take too much time to post hints on all their levels. How would the creators feel about letting some of the players that can complete the level post the hints for them? Just a thought.

I also posted this wish in another thread just recently, and as you said, it's not just for us, right now, it's all the newbies in years to come.

Your idea of others writing the solution seems like a good idea also, but I guess it would depend on each individual creator giving their consent. Not everybody will solve their level the way they necessarily planned it.

But usually, it doesn't mean writing a complete walk-through. Most people get stuck at the same point, so that is all that would need to be covered, and once it's written and posted, it's done. I remember in a post somewhere reading that Shorty thought she ought to copy and paste her solution, because she was getting tired of writing it in so many PMs. Sorry Shorty if I've got this wrong - but that's how I remember it, and it proves a point.

Like you Gen, I only comment on the ones I can finish, and I rarely ask for help. Once in a while one will get my goat to the point that I cry "help", but I really don't like to do that. I must get braver too

Btw, Lil - I'm still working on My Best Friend the Box. Thanks for the spoiler, but I'm still trying to control those **$#%** Z-bots ! ! ! ! ! !

I know I'm missing a lot of really good and funny levels, but I have tried to play and as soon as I get to the first hurdle I say 'sod it' and turn it off. I blame Secret Worlds, I played all the levels over and over again during making and testing, and I think I just overdosed on it. :(

I do have lots and lots of models to upload, but they all need testing in the game and that's the bit I don't want to do. If I take a long enough break, I may want to come back with renewed vigour, but I wouldn't hold your breath if I were you.

I too generally only comment on the levels I've played (well... sometimes I ask for help as well  ), but I find that my desire to play and create levels fluctuates a lot. Some weeks I don't feel like playing and creating at all, some weeks I only feel like playing or creating and some weeks I feel like doing both.

When I'm in the playing mood, I try to play levels from as many different designers as possible and comment accordingly. I have given up on ever catching up, though. I still download everything to keep my web site updated of course.

So if you wonder why I sometimes seem to overflow with comments and sometimes have none at all, you know the reason.
