It was just a teeny, tiny bit. I couldn't "read" your clues, and I kept forgetting where I'd been
and where I was going, and where I shouldn't go

My whole body was hurting so much - it really hurts, you know, bashing into walls like that
that it was: do that awful thing, or give up - and I was definitely in a mood to conquer.
So conquer I did - sort of
