Hi Wonderlanders,
Hopefully during these last few weeks several of you completed the journey with Indiana Stinky
through the 'Valley of Quests'.
If so, you may then recall how pleased Indy was to have reached home as he
'had an important diner-date with a certain L. Croft'
Now, you could be foregiven for assuming that this was the glamerous and renown adventurer LARA Croft.
NO..no..no..NO..NO.. It was with me, Indy's true and trusted companion..
............ 'LOOFY CROFT - Tomb Poacher' ............
Well over dinner, Indy disclosed that within the valley he had discovered an ancient map showing the
whereabouts of the 'Original Rainbow Coin'

Everyone assumed that this coin had been lost forever but NO - the map indicates that it was placed
deep inside the ...... 'Tomb of Tootin' Carmen'
Well, I am so excited as TODAY, Indy is going to take me to the entrance of this Tomb
I am ready..... are you
Good Luck everyone,
Malcdelsol

Hi malcdelsol,

I have managed to get through to the scouges, oh my!
This is gonna take some time............ you know me malc, slow and methodical!
Have a wonderful time with your family, if you ever sail across the Irish waters, call in for a cuppa.
Best regards to Jan.

I'm here Malc.
I was sure I had commented on this one. I was positive I made some remark about the worst pun in Wonderland History. Tootin' Carmen = Noisy Drivers. Dearie me.
Anyway, the level I actually found very easy; certainly not as hard as the Space level. I sussed the timing for the green switch very quickly, but will admit the Z-bots, (the little darlings that they are), did give me a bit of trouble first couple of shots till I 'despatched' a few using a block and some water.
I really liked it; it's well up to the standard we've come to expect from you Malc.
Keep 'em coming mate, (after you've enjoyed the rain back here in Blighty on your visit, of course).

Oh and by the way. One does not say, "Oh No! Z-bots!!" One must always say, "Oh Joy! Look at the lovely little gorgeous darling Z-Bots!"

Hi Janey,
Where are you getting stuck in playing this level
Wouldn't want you or anyone else to give-up on it if a hint or 2 would be of use.

It's those boulders at the green gates that have got me! Every time I try this level Loof is either immediately smashed, or he's electrocuted when he tries to get out of the way of the boulders. HELP!

Hi Dianna,
A good bit of this is timing.
***** SPOILER *****
Move Loofy up 1 space.
As soon as Loofy goes over the green timer button the boulders start
So, wait until the electric floor stops flashing and immediately go up over the timer button, across the electric floor and quickly on and back off the green round button in 1 movement. The boulder coming at you will explode at the green gate.
You will notice that the green gates will automatically open after a few seconds. Do not try and go out across the green round button - when the electric floor stops flashing go back across it.
***** BIG HINT *****
At the very end of this level Loofy has to push boulders into the pool to get back home - he WILL NEED the boulder from the start
So, push the boulder into the pool AND immediately go right up and left to finish this first part - the boulder will trigger the green timer switch and you will get caught between 2 sets of gates if you don't do this in 1 go
Hope this is all clear
Good Luck,
Malcdelsol

Well, what a surprise!
That's exactly NOT how I did it.
Would you have expected me to do it the way you planned it Malc? Nah! Of course not.

Hi OB,
The only other way I was able to do it was with very good anticipation
Therebye going onto the lower electric floor square, up 1 square and off again as the boulder on the right passes.
For you OB no probs, but I expect for many this would have driven them barmy
Unless you did it another way still of course
I'm working on my last level for uploading before I go back to the UK for a month - doin me ead in

Hi, Malc, and thanks for the tip! Even with that tip, I am still strugging with this level but suspect I will get it in a few more tries. It took me awhile to figure out that, once I got rid of the boulder I couldn't step back on the green button.
Oh, and what the heck makes the green gates open again once they're closed, so the boulder can be pushed down? Is there a hidden star button somewhere?
This is a toughie -- hate to see what's coming from you (tho of course, I can't wait!) As for the one that comes before this one, still working on that, too. I'M SO FAR BEHIND WITH THESE LEVELS!

Hi Dianna,
Hopefully you are now OK for getting into the tomb
How do the green gates open - is there a hidden timer button
No Dianna there are no hidden buttons. The way a timer button actually works when activated is to - open the gates if they are closed and when the time expires to REVERSE their current status
Normally this would be to close the gates but in this instance, by stepping on and off the round button you have already closed them - so when the time expires from the timer button it OPENS them again
When you push the boulder into the pool it activates the timer button again but as the gates are already open nothing happens. However when the time expires it reverses their status and CLOSES them
Let me know if you want a hint for any other part of the level - don't go giving up on me now

OOHHH, that's how that star button works! Thanks, Malc. I have no intention of giving up on this level. I love the story on this one, as I am a big Tomb Raider fan and have played all of Lara's games multiple times. I never did know about Loofy Croft, though. Is he related to Lara in any way?

Hi Dianna,
Not giving up - Good for you
I have only had my computer for this past 18 months as after a career of working within the industry I vowed I never wanted to see another computer again
However I too realy enjoy the Tomb Raider RPG type of games. I have completed through to TR4 - Last Revelation and when I go back to the UK next week TR5 - The Chronicles is already awaiting my arrival to bring back to Spain with me
I will then look to get TR6 - Angel of Darkness to play next winter.
On my shelf here I also have both of the Indiana Jones RPG games. As I seem to be spending so much time on this level creating business at the moment I have decided to keep them 'In Reserve' for the time being.
Is Loofy Croft a relative of Lara

Probably only in my barmy mind

Well Malc, as I told you in another post.........I DID IT!
That was so difficult, I have been Zbotted dozens of times, mucked up the boulders dear knows how many times!
Great level, Tootin Carmen might sound corny, I found it very funny.
I still have one of your levels to complete yet, wish me luck, I'll need it!
Thanks
