Hi all !!!

I thought I'd try something different--VERY simple as a level goes, (even for me) but it is a recipe for Sugar Pie. I made it for Stinky and he liked it so much, he'd like to tell you how to make it.

My gramma used to make it for us, and finally figured out a recipe so we could make it. She always just threw it together without measuring, but alas that didn't work for me

It's very simple and oh so good, warm or cold. I hope you like it ---if you try it please let me know.

What a cute way to give a recipe! Sounds yummy, and simple. I'll have to try it, so when I make it I'll call you to come over and share. Stinky said he would be here, too!

The chocolate bunny was delicious. Loved that chocolate milk you made in the bunny. Thanks! :D

   ok........hey, just remember when you put the cinnamon on top, keep sprinkling until you can't see the 'underside' stuff. That , with the butter pats, gives it a top. :D

Hi eeyore - nice way to give a recipe! I am a great cook and can put together a sauce bernaise blindfolded and with one hand tied on my back with NO problems.......... But I can't make a succesfull pie
Maybe I'll try to bake this one for my husband (If he will even try another one of my "experiments" )

- Is it tricky? What is "little pats"? When you say "400 dregrees" its not celcius :!: but what then?

Bina :)

Well, that would be farenheit. 400 degrees farenheit would be about 204 degrees celcius.

Gee, are we Americans the only ones who use farenheit to cook with? Sorta like we insist on staying with inches and and feet and yards and miles..... :?:

Thanks Dianna! :D

In DK we use the "meter-system"; centimeters, kilometers etc. We weigh in kilos and grams etc....
It can be really confusing to read some of the posts, where people tells what they weigh and how high they are - I'm completely lost

Thanks for also telling me what the degree is in celsius

You're lucky in USA, we're having metrication forced on us!

I don't want to be part of Europe - I want to be the 51st state.
(No offence to Bina and Salin - metrication does make it easier to add up - but I still have to convert grams to pounds and ounces when I go shopping)

It must be that age thing again - don't like change!

Popo, you should see me, trying to drive in the "wrong" side of the road in England - THATS something I wish you would change :D :D :D

A little pat of butter(margarine) is about half a teaspoon. 5 pats around will do it, it just helps the cinnamon to 'glaze' over better.

No trick !!!! Measure exactly, pour it in.....no problems.
Thank you Dianna---all I know is degreesF !!!! :D

 Perhaps we should all start driving down the middle of the road instead - that would be fun  Of course the whole system would have to be 'one-way' but that would just add to the fun!
A bit like riding the conveyors in Wonderland

Hi eeyore,
Loved the level and the recipe idea was great! :D I too will try it. I collect recipes and I'm currently starting to work on a couple of family cookbooks. If it's alright with you, I'll include your recipe. :) Have you ever tried adding nuts to it? Sounds like it would work well as a variation. :)

Hi eeyore31,

I really like your sugarpie level, but one question for you. How do I move the second round of boxes. A marble is there, I figure I use it to destroy one of the boxes. But it doesn't line up so that a box can be destoyed . Can anyone help me?
Thanks,
Cat  :?

I am referring to the four boxes back to back. One has to be destoyed in order to push the boxes in the water.
If my claws where sharp enough I would scratch those boxes.
Thanks for your help.

Spoiler!!

Cat... roll the rock (marble) towards the top (or to the left) hit the post then roll the rock to the right hit the other post (it will be almost in front of the coin in the top rite)... now roll the rock into 2 boxes and break them... that will leave u with 2 .. but u only need 1... push it into the water on the right...

Hope this help u... :D :D

Hi Cat......yup Bearsland is right. Just push the boulder up, right, down.
Then you can use the other 2 boxes :D

Oh Carolyn, I'm sooooo glad you tried it !!!! Isn't it sinful ?? :D

You can adjust the 'stiffness' by the time left in the oven. Usually when I see the middle JUST STARTING to look like it's moving up, I pull it out, because I like a lot of the gooie part. Is that how you spell gooie, gooy??

SharonM, Nuts would probably be good :) I'm just so old fashioned, that's the way gramma made it, so that's the way I make it. You know how funny we old ladies can be

Thanks to both of you, I knew the rock had something to do with the boxes, but I had problems getting the rock to roll into the boxes.I play the level for a couple of days trying to figure it out for myself. Thanks so much. :D
