Hi all,

I finally had time to make a level :D

Please don't use Alt-X on this one, it will ruin the point of the level :twisted: .

Enjoy :lol:

"There are only 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand Binary and those who don't"

I got this one first time. I'd have been so :oops: :oops: :oops: if I had got it wrong. :wink:

Nice little level, Mette.

Luckily I understand binary too, so I was able to do this one OK. Not first time 'cos of the z-bot :cry:

Fun and informative level Mette! :D 8) :D

The zbot got me too the first time around and I had a hard time seeing around all the trees. Where is Ol'Gramma's chainsaw? :roll: Finally made it through for the gold. Thanks for all the fun! :D

Made it, Mette. Thanks for the education & for all the clues. Great fun :!: :!:

Excellent concept.
Quote Gen:

I think, Chainsaw! Good idea.
Then I think..wait. No trees, purpose of puzzle spoiled.

Thank you for good fun.

Did I miss something? I didn't need any of this binary stuff but ran to the exit without using any of those boulders. :shock:
Thanks for another gold star :D

You might as well be speaking to me in Esperanto my friend when it comes to this Maths speak :shock: :shock: :shock:

Got Stan to work it all out for me and I played the level. I was shouting at him that he was getting the combination wrong as the gates wouldn't open :o :o :o Then I realised that I shouldn't step on the white button at the beginning :lol: :lol: :lol:

Great fun Mrs Brainhead - more please x

I really wanted to say that I understood binary too............guess what...this is me ..and no, sadly I don't. :oops: :oops: It hasn't stopped me trying though... :lol: Thank you mette.

I'm glad you al liked it, thanks :D
Lutz, you must have very fast fingers :shock: . I don't think I'm able to do it that way :oops: :lol:

Here's some major help for the binary challenged:
spoiler wrote:
Binary numbers consists only of the digits 0 and 1.
Decimal numbers on the left, binary numbers on the right:
1 = 1
2 = 10
4 = 100
8 = 1000
16 = 10000
32 = 100000

The code for the lock is 1 + 5 x 8 = 41
The task is now to figure out how to write 41 as a sum using only the decimal numbers 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32.
41 = 32 + 8 + 1
Look at the list above:
32 = 100000 , 8 = 1000, 1 = 1 so
41 = 100000 + 1000 + 1 = 101001
You need to roll the 1st, 3rd and last boulder ("reading" from left to right) immidiately after you press the white button.

Class dismissed :wink: :lol:

No fast fingers needed, Mette.

Here's some minor help for the binary challenged.

Your way is more fun though. :wink:

I knew that's the way Lutzy must have done it. I forgot to test if it was possible :oops: but it is (even for me :shock: ). I too find my way more fun :lol: :lol:

And Mette - it depends if people know their maths rules. Multiply first then add, otherwise you get 48 for the answer, which doesn't work!

I know Liz. That was on purpose :twisted:

Got to be honest here, I also did it Lutzy's way. :roll: :lol:

Good fun Mrs. MacNutter junior. :D

Well - the only thing I know about Binary is that I don't understand it

So - had to decide on another way of doing it.

Took a few trial runs, but I managed to persuade the blue guy to go swimming,
and then it was all over bar the shouting :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thanks Mette - great fun, even if I didn't learn anything - but I did read it.

Im one of the ones, or tens or what ever that joke thingy was ( it went straight over my head ) who dont know diddly squat about binary.
Id never have got this in a million years with out the answer being shoved in my face with neon signs around it
