Morning .. I can only guess you've got that far by doing something different cos the yellow gate stays open pour moi
Check this ....
1. Build bridge, collect coins thru red TP, place 2nd wooden box on top of the bridge.
2. Release chomps for dark blue button
3. Collect coin behind the trees and red gate
4. Get boulder and push it to top edge
5. Fetch chomps for the pale blue button at the top and push boulder at the red gate, when it smashes, another one will pop out and roll round the buttons for you.
That little ice slide at the end was unnecessary evil, just makes the timing harder

Just been re-testing this and it does get real irritating real quick
Here's a version without the ice tile at the end (I must have been in a bad mood last night

)

Well Kaz - I've tried the difficult one and the easy one, and the same thing happens with both. The green gate shuts on me before I can get through the yellow gate. Done it over and over.
Will try again tomorrow after a good night's sleep. Maybe faster fingers will work.

Kaz, I had the same problem of the green gate closing before I could reach the yellow gate. After many, many tries I've been able to make it to the end with a gold star successfully - doing both levels. Both are very challenging levels, but that ice slide at the end was really tough! Thanks for all the fun!

Hi Kaz,
What a joy to solve this puzzle without any hints.
Tho' I must confess I was almost ready to call it quits
when thru experimentation the answer came and I didn't
even know it at the time. It was when I realized the
time factor for the yellow button and reaching the exit
just didn't work, that it finally dawned on me.
I solved it with the ice tile, and timing that green gate
was very difficult.
Now I know what it's like to be on
the receiving end of a difficult puzzle.
Tho' I'm happy that I didn't give up, it was worth
hanging in there and finishing it.
I really appreciate the cleverness of your careful design.
This is classic Wonderland at it's BEST!
And I enjoyed my stay at the pond!

Just finished the easy version thanks to your spoiler (I was always doing the wrong thing with the 2nd wooden box

). Now I'll give the original a try
Edit: Finished the original, too
