A challenging level, Chickie! It took several runs to figure this one out, not exactly easy. I had fun doing it. Thanks for all the fun!

Thanks to Chickie holding my hand and guiding me through the maze, I managed to finish!
What a very clever and challenging puzzle Chickie

I just couldn't get my brain around it, yet when you explain what to do, it's so obvious.
A great little puzzle.

Well, I still haven't solved this in any way that looks like the intended one. Essentially, I get rid of all creatures, then exit by myself with the help of a wooden box that is certainly not placed where intended.

As far as I can see the blue and white gates do not need to remain open so here's how I do it,
I trap the boomer between two boxes, I use the metal box to direct the bottie into a waterhole, push metal box up, collect coins and exit.

None of the gates needs to remain open indefinitely - the pink one needs to remain open just a tiny bit longer, and that's what the box does.
