WSW Volcano/The Secret Cave

Hi everyone, I've been at this level for a little over a week now (off & on) but can not figure out how to get past the cannon's to the star. Even if I bring the last metal box through, I can't get it to go in the right direction to go through with me to block the cannon shots.
Please help.

Erica, it's been awhile since I played that level & I remember being so stuck.... have you tried the online solution? It got me through it

You don't actually need the metal box to get through
.

Mette & Laura,
Thank you for your help. I was doing everything right until I'd get to the cannons. I was stauling
instead of going straight through like I should have done.
Now off to some of the older levels that I have not been able to pass.

what a great hint Mette. I was trying to beat the cannon fire! Instead I ran right through the middle without stopping when I stepped on the button. Thanks

Hi Mette,
I would like to thank you also for this great hint
I always tried to run through the fire "with" the box.
Without it´s much easier, you can run faster and I got it now

Another little hint for those bad-lucked, who can't run straight through:
There are a couple of safespots in the fire system.
Even if you are having a bad luck you can run to them, and stop.
Move right two columns avoiding fire.
Watch the fire, and move up to the exit.
Another thing is that if you have a VERY good timing you can run straight through even AFTER the firerings are working. I did it accidently and will never do it.
