The Wonderland Board

Suddenly my cannon shots and flames look like simple single round spheres instead of how they used to look. I am sure something in the Wonderland folder got corrupted. The cannon shots still look as they used to in my secret worlds folder.

Reinstalling my Platinum Edition has not fixed it. Any suggestions what might be corrupted and how I might fix it?

Bern, it is not your computer nor the Platinum edition. I don't know why this happens, but it is common in some levels. Maybe one of the level designers can tell you how they get them to do this.

Check your options menu and see if detail level is set to "high". There's only a set # of particles (such as the trail of the cannon) depending on that level. If a lot is going on in a level at once (snow, rain, fire,etc) some particles may not be displayed at all times. This has always been the case though, no change with the platinum edition.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did solve it however. I erased everything, and reinstalled from scratch (except for the players folder) rather than just reinstalling over the old installation. And that fixed it!
