Is anyone else experiencing this .. I've got Loof's twin haunting Wonderland

Seems to be any level with Loof in ...

So I went in the editor and made a level with JUST Loof in it ... look what happened !

You can walk through the apparition ... anyone else ?? ... Think I'm going loopy-loo

I haven't had that - but I did have a big black blob following me in one of Amy's 3D levels last night! I also had a row of shadow small blobs in the background of a level a while back - but that hasn't happened since!

Is it only happening with Loof?

WhhaaAAAA !! This one made me jump !!

Just had a flick round to see if it works with other characters and Loof's Twin turned up in a level that only has Stinky in it

He always seems to have a shadow blob thingy under him doesn't he? Have you closed the game and re-started it?

Tried Coin Jest cos I knew all 4 characters were in that one ...

I haven't seen that one Kaz.

Lillie I have seen the big blob, Its the top or bottom of the warp void thingy. seen in the 3D levels using the warp void thingy.

Panic over .. I re-started the game and he vanished ... very spooky indeed, thanks for the tip Lillie

Kaz, I had the same thing and I think I know who is to blame...

Replay levitation (Amadeus) a couple times, mess up the begining a couple times, might even have to use the alt-x, once you've got control of loof. Not sure. then play another level in that folder. I can get a loof that way every time. but if I restart the game, or if I switch folders, it goes away. but if I switch back tot he folder that levitation is in, it come back. until I restart the whole game. Only happens if I play that level.

I played it and then saw loof on Saturn, Mars, Neptune... all over the galaxy.

My "Levitation" level was introducing a Ghostly Loof Twin into the other levels.
You don't even need to play the level.
Just loading and exiting the level, will cause Loof's spirit to appear in the other levels.
I posted a warning in the thread to alert others of this situation.

The mystery is solved and the case is closed.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

That's interesting. Since I can't expirence it directly I want to ask you a few questions.

If you have LoofTwin in a level, do you need to bring him to the exit too?
Does he appears in the same coordinates?
What is the bug in "Levitation" which may cause this.

loof isn't the only one!

I made a level. When one character exits, (EXCEPT Peegue for a reason) The next character (using enter cycle) is chose, then the next, and the next! The character chose first after one exits is an appiration!

Its like this.

(highlight to read)

Stinky exits. switches to loof, then Qookie, then Peegue. Try to switch to Loof as Peegue. Nothing. Push Sticky Cube on same tile as loof, Loof ends up in Sticky Cube. Press Esc and select restart level, Qoookie And Peegue go boom -Loof is still there.(optional) Walk on same square as loof, loof is in your character.

actually, the game renders ghosts to appear once you've played a level with a ghost character. When you exit the game to the editor or Windows, then RTW takes it as you have NOT played the level while logged on wonderland. I mean if you play a level with a Ghost Stinky, for example, load another level, play it, see a Ghost Stinky, Exit game, and log back on Return To Wonderland again, It's Natural that the ghost character will dissapear. Exiting the game after playing a level with a ghost character is kind of like an antidote for the ghost character.

Get my point?

The only thing is you CAN NOT open a ghost character level in the editor and edit it without the ghosts dissapearing.

I went back to check this out and downloaded "Levitation", and guess what... it worked

Hmm, that picture looks familiar... looks like "The Marionettes"
with the Loof Brothers.

Yes, it is that level made by your alter ego - very fun I might add
Loof has found a partner to help him control the marionettes
