I have been on return to the jade temple for days and can't figure it out, can anyone give me a hint. I am going crazy here.

Here's a walkthrough

Spoiler (highlight to read) wrote:
Push the box with the white X to the right and into the water. Push cannon 1 to the yellow X. Push the box with the yellow arrow up. Push cannon 1 to the purple X. Push the box with the green arow up and the box with the green X to the green circle. Now push cannon 1 to the yellow circle. The box with the green X (now on the green circle) can now be pushed into the water above cannon two. Push cannon 1 to the yellow X. Push cannon 2 to the white X. Wait for the cannons to fire (you can hear it) Quickly push cannon 2 down to the red X and cannon 1 right to the other red X. When the gates open run straight through and enter the TP. Wait until the gates close (you're safe there, don't worry). Timing your move with the fireballs, enter the TP and exit.

I've also been going mad with this - finding the walk through is brilliant but I am a bit new to all this - please bear with me, but how do I use the walk through - sorry to sound like an idiot.

Do you mean how do you see the spoiler written in the white box? If so, use your mouse to block and highlight the text inside the white box!

Or if it is the screenshot you can't see - go to your profile at the top of the forum page and make sure that you have a tick in the box that says "allow BBC Code" or "allow htlm code" or something like that - sorry but I can't remember the exact terms or words
