Level Editor

I am having trouble with the Level Editor. I can use the Level Exchange but when I try to pull up the Level Editor I get an error message that says unable to load graphics. Can you tell me how to correct this? Any help that is given is GREATLY appreciated!

First thing to do is to try using different settings (windowed/fullscreen, bit depth). What is the exact error message?

The exact message is "Unable to set graphics mode". I tried going into control panel and played around changing the settings a bit but it made no difference

When you first start RTW a little window will appear (that has the Level Editor button on it). There are two white displays in the centre. The right one has the display settings for the editor. There are two settings you can change - try a few different combinations (Windowed/Fullscreen and Bitdepth).
If none of them work it might be time to do a DirectX update (
www.microsoft.com/directx) and/or a video card driver update.
