The Wonderland Board

This is for kiki, the boulder king. I was going to call it "Outside the Box" but kiki already used that title about 1000 levels ago.

Using the jade2 texture that was made for our joint level earlier this week.

Side note:While watching my son play through the tutorial levels of wonderland, I heard him reading about the bonus coins. It was something I'd forgotten after playing hundreds and hundreds of levels.

Bonus Coins are usually placed in areas containing additional challenges or puzzles. Any level can be completed without collecting the bonus coins, so players can choose to simply complete the level, or to get the "perfect" score.

In light of that, all bonus coins are optional. There is a way to complete this puzzle without ever collecting even one. And then there's my way. To get those coins, there is a little more danger or puzzling to be done.

Awe how sweet of you, I must say you come up with some real humdingers, The timer room solution is brilliant, A must finish puzzler room by room, This is one of those levels that I couldn't stop until it was done. Each area had a different feel and look to it with fun little challenges. Good work Loopy Lowray and thanks for the level.

While it is nice to have the bonus coins free for the picking, it's even better when you have to work for them.

This was a very interesting level, with the setup and solution. I enjoyed very much the visual, and working through it. Lots of fast fingers in this one!

My guess is this one is a little hard to get going so here's a hint for any that need it:

Around the timers is a good way to start, but eventually, there is a different way to keep all the gates open. and that way won't include the conveyors.

This was tough Loirae! I had to work through each part several times before I was successful! Felt good to reach the exit and collect a gold star!

excellent level! exciting or what??

i'm glad i didn't look for help on this one, i spent a good half hour on it yesterday and gave up, i'd decided i needed to keep something i shouldn't have, i came back today and tried something else and that was the hardest part done.......or was it? one room was easy peasy, the rest simply weren't, the boulders confused me for quite some time mainly because i missed something a few times that i wouldn't have if OH's music hadn't been on so loud

loirae, it was interesting to read your comments about the bonus coins, on the original game and RTW and also secret worlds (yes i bought them all before i found these boards ) i never really used to bother with the bonus coins at all unless they were just there for the picking, i think it's different here though, i think that generally people think that they haven't really completed a level unless they get the gold star. i think that's to do with the fact that these levels are the creation of the posters rather than part of a big game sort of thing.

maybe that's just me though, you lot probably got all the bonus coins in the original games too

Loopity - I have found the barrel. I can smash the boulder - then the boulders all come at me from N, S, E and W and I don't have a cooooooolooooooo (just incase you are missing some o's ) what to do next

I'm with you, Lillie.....I don't have a coooolooooo either. I know that Loopy Loray said to destroy the metal box & the boulder with the barrel but I can't do that either I can destroy one but not both & I've tried everything (obviously everything but the right thing). Help....pleeeeeze.

To kill the boulder, box, and barrel:

whne you're ready to smash the boulder, put the metal box right in the middle of the square (under the red timer) go up and get the barrel and just after the boulder passes, push it straight down so it lands right of the metal box.
The bolder will hit it and all three explode.

Hope the rest isn't so swful.

Does that mean we have to get the boulder going round the inner conveyor first? If you push the barrel down to the right of the metal box, the boulder is still circling around the outside and it doesn't smash the boulder or the box

Anything else we have to do before we do that bit please?

Here it is. No spoiler text since I think this one mustve been off the stinker scale. Sorry to everyone.

OK, first, get the coins
Next, after the boulder goes by, push the metal box up onto the purple timer and run around left and stand in the hidden wall up and to the left of the box. The boulder will stop in front of you. Push it down and it starts going on the inner circle of timers. At this point, if you won't be getting the bonus coins, get the four coins on the TPs, or if you're going to make a try for the bonus coins, you can do it now or get them later.
then push the box into the middle and follow the rest of the directions above.

OK Loopity - I am sorry to have been so dense - I have finally been able to almost finish this cracker! The effect of the timers is knockout

Alas, I am struggling with the sphere's at the mo, but have managed to complete all the other sections I haven't had much chance to play today - but promise to give it my fullest attention after I have made my meatballs

Once getting the boulder machine started it was fun puzzling room by room. Liked the box/ice part most and found the spheres room the hardest.

I really wanted to get this one done before beddy-bye, but that was proving very difficult. This was really a piece of work and I was trying a number of different approaches to make it go. Your tip about the fake wall to the left was very helpful!

BTW After I stopped the boulder I just pushed the box into the red gate and let it blow up, saved a few steps

I was reading through this thread, and I didn't even know there was a barrel, or a false wall. I just destroyed the boulder by pushing the steel box in the way. Then the generator started, causing 4 boulders to come, which crashed into each other, just after passing the timers.

I wouldn't have gotten this level if not for the hints. I managed to get all but the bonus coins in the red sphere room. I'm really bad at those spheres and I'm one of those that likes to get it all............Can anyone help a gal and a stinker out on that room. thank you.

Sure. Here's how I did the red spheres.

go to the farthest right sphere and take the coin out from under it.
go back to the farthest left sphere and push it down.
push the left sphere back up (this will get rid of the middle sphere which was a red herring)
push the remaining sphere left to the wall, then up into the water.

One point: destroying the metal box is much easier: just place it within a gate and wait - the gate will close on it.
