The nearest star to us, other than our Sun, is Proxima Centauri.. Its 4.22 light-years away... Stinky decided to go there today... cuz he thinks there are planets going around that star... Its a dying star called a Red Dwarf.. Our Sun will someday be a White Dwarf... If there are planets at Proxima Centauri they would not get much sun light... You can go here below and see some pictures of what an artist concept of what those planets would look like..

Got as far as the spikes when.......
MEMORY ACCESS VIOLATION reared it's ugly head!
I will try again, it looks so good.

I too am getting a memory access violation when I get killed. I think you need to reduce the number of objects, 100 of each is the limit and you have 150 coins
Layout looks really good though, and I love reading the messages.
I am looking forward to playing it if you can get it down in size. I go in and remove some things myself but I don't know what's essential and what's just scenery.

Hi Carolyn,
Completed this level OK
I did get the Memory problem as like Davimad & popo but not until I had finished the level.
Please don't take offence - but I DO need to ask 1 question :-
On such a great level such as this WHY hide coins in fake walls
Nearly every level I am playing of late requires me to go round pushing every bit of wall to find hidden items
For me anyway it does detract from the enjoyment when as in this level the first time I made it to the end I was 2 coins short
Maybe it's just me
Anyway, thanks for a really well thought out and informative level

Malc,
Did you manage it without getting killed at all? Or have you just got more memory than me?

cos the memory thing only happened when I got killed, then the whole program shut down.

Great level, Carolyn!!!!!
I did get the memory violation after I finished it.......I tried eliminating the outer ice-ring, to make it smaller, but still got it. Maybe I'll try splitting it into 2 games.....too fun not to keep

Hi popo,
The Memory Violation problem occurs whenever you finish the level - either by getting to the exit or by getting killed.
So, even though I did complete the level and obtain a score RTW then still came up with the error.
Reducing the size is unlikely to help as the problem is caused by an excess of 1 or several item types.
As eeyore has suggested, splitting into 2 would solve the problem as each half would be a seperate level and have its' own item limits.
However, if you complete it anyway it doesn't really matter

Because we like to! Fake walls are for hiding things. Maybe it's a woman thing!!

I've had to reduce the number of coins to enable me to play this. I only removed those that were unnecessary and left the ones in hard to get to places. Now I can play it without having to restart the programme every time I get killed, which is an awful lot
