This is for my friend Lillie, who was recently on holiday near there.
And for my friend Lutz, who learned to speak such perfect English there.
Paignton (pronounced Paint-un).
Using the same old devonbeach texture:

Boy, this place must have changed

When I have been there in the early 80es they didn't have all this pink and sticky stuff at the beach.
Gave me lots of troubles

Maybe it was Lillie who left it there. All the candies of her little chompers
Anyway, the level was lots of fun. Could do the first part pretty quick but then I needed a few restarts to get Loof and Qookie in their boats and to the exit.
Thanks a lot, Liz

(Also for your nice compliment

Oh Lizzie - how cool was that
Can't tell you how many restarts I had with this one
So many little brilliant puzzles and traps in this sooper level. I tried to do the impossible with the bonus coins/spikes - what a nelly I am

Finally saw the light and then got into such a tizzy with the goops/travelators

You are really clever with your travelator puzzles - well done! Finally got both stinkers home - mind you, they were both covered in strawberry goopy icecream by the time they got there!
I met Lutzy in there - strutting down the beach in his thong - the girls were all whistling at him
Thanks so much for this trip down memory lane hon - loved it

What a neat level, Lizzie. I can just picture Lutz (in his thong) & Lillie (in her string bikini) strolling down the beach
I really stink at gooby cubes & travelators. The cubes weren't too bad but I had the guys floating all over the lake on their rafts trying to make it to shore (exit) & if that wasn't bad enough the first couple of times I forgot about poor Quookie & left her stranded in the spike room with no way out....DUH
Eventually got Lillie (Quookie) & Lutz (Loof) to the shore & they are both now enjoying laying in the sun with a "tall" one in hand.
Great fun, Lizzie, & a terrific tribute to both players

Then you did it the hard way, didn't you?
Liz, this was another wonderful addition to the Devon Beach series. the goobie were indeed sticky situations, but I finally managed to get everyone both on the same side of the machine and home with gold seashells.

Great tribute to Lillie and Lutz
And a wonderfully tricky puzzle. Not only did you make us puzzle out the first part but the levitators were a puzzle themselves. I would have been here sooner but I kept wanting to play with the blue beach balls
Loof and Qookie worked well together and

their way to the gold.

This was fantabulous! It was fun to do the beginning over and over

, and I trapped Loof behind the goops once, too. Excellent travelator puzzles in this series!
Thanks for the fun!

So, Liz.....
My time to complain.
I love your beach series, but sofar have been able to solve only two. I keep coming back to them.
All of the above ordinary world citizens solved this level, except yours truly. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?
I understand there's a generator out there, waiting to get tickled, but.... apparently not a blue boulder thing, unless I miss something.
Anyway, ermm.....help!!

Hi Mahaloof and anyone else struggling with this one, here's the solution (sort of). I haven't given detailed moves for the transporters as many different ways work.
PAIGNTON SOLUTION
1. Red boulder left over trampoline. Left box down into water. Both characters move right box up into water for sticky cube room. Push barrel up between top pink cubes.
2. Use both characters to push the blue spheres up and right. One lands on the dark blue button. Wait until the kaboom has passed the right-hand gate, then push the other sphere up onto the light blue button and move out of the way. The kaboom goes to the pink cube room and blows up the barrel.
3. Move the pink cubes into the water above the bonus/spike section, and get bonus coins.
4. Go through to the right section and push the pink cubes left into the other pink cubes. This starts the cube generator and 2 transporters will arrive.
5. Push the left cube down into the water and ride right and up to push the right cube left into the other cubes.
6. Both characters now ride the transporters down. Get the bonus coins (a slightly fiddly process but not too bad). The first character gets down to the bottom right corner. DON’T PUSH THAT PINK CUBE UNTIL THE OTHER CHARACTER IS DOWN THERE TOO. Push the cube.
7. Now collect all the coins from that area and exit. It just takes a little manoeuvring.
8. Good luck!

So I was halfway into this one. Now I'll tell you what was wrong with me: I didn't know that sticking sticky cubes together in a sticky mess would start the generator AND NOBODY TOLD ME !!! Harumphhhhh.......
Thanks, Liz!

I found this one easier than some of the other beaches. How cool is that that you dedicated this to Sassypants and Lutz!
This was great fun Lizzie, thanks!
