Model Pack: Carshow "CARSHOWIXWSLX"

Post by Midnight Synergy » Fri Jul 02, 2004 6:51 pm

Here's a 3d model test for those of you who want to dive right into the complicated stuff. It's a car show set with four different Ferraris for Stinky and the gang to cruise through Wonderland. Models are by Psionic - an excellent model and tutorial site: http://www.psionic3d.co.uk

To use this model set in your own creations, or if you wish to play a level that uses this model set, you need to follow the following steps:

1. Create the "CustomModels" sub-directory in your "Return To Wonderland Deluxe" directory.
2. In there, create a further sub-directory named "CarshowIXWSLX"
3. Unzip the eight files in the attached ZIP into that folder.

Note: different users will post different model sets under different directory names - make sure that you create a directory that matches the name that the model set poster specifies.

For a test level that uses this set, see
http://www.pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=9344
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I had a problem with this until I noticed you put the wrong directory name in the post.
2. In there, create a further sub-directory named "CarshowISWSLX"
It should be CarshowIXWSLX

Works fine now, but I think those cars are too posh for Stinky, and nearly as big as his house

Hi, I'm new to Custom models, but in my Return to Wonderland folder, would it have "Return to Wonderland", "Uninstall", and "Wonderland on the Web?" I can't really tell. Thanks in advance!

What are you trying to say?
Can you state it out clearly?

I mean, I can't tell if that's my Return to Wonderland directory, its my only file called "Return to Wonderland." I put in the 3.01 stuff to see if it would help, but it didn't. I put it in CustomModels, the level in CustomLevels, but it didn't work. Please help me! I really want to try this!

CustomModels shouldn't be in CustomLevels. It should be in the ReturnToWonderland folder one file back.

The folder containing the model should be inside the "custommodels" folder. The custommodels folder should be outside the customlevels folder, in the ReturnToWonderland folder.

It was, but I used the wrong Return to Wonderland folder. I fixed it, though. :D
