The fanbase isn't dying, it's generally just moved to other places (even then there weren't that many people on this forum who were interested). "The show is incorrect with a lot of casual things"? Um, what?

Also, "Pointless media"? What do you mean, the fandom documentaries/TV mentions/etc.? If so, yeah, that's stupid, but if you're talking about fanmade stuff, you could apply that to literally any fanbase ever.

For that matter, the "OC ponies" and "Fluffle Puff" bit fall under fanmade media, why are they important enough to get their own heading?

It's not as if that's a problem exclusive to the MLP fandom, so I still don't see why that should be a big deal.

I feel the same way about the GMod part, but not quite as much. Easy-to-use bases exist, so...

What I mean is that that argument can be applied to any fandom, so criticizing one for it is kinda pointless.

(To clarify, I'm not looking for an argument in this thread to begin with, I'm just curious about Technos' reasoning)
