Sorry, no.

Silence HAS been broken by people, and I don't think that the beginning of time was nessecarily loud.

Well in that case...

The word "broken"? It's a past tense of break, and it always has been so. I think. (I'm willing to bet this is wrong however  )

Am I allowed to say one? :?:

here is one that is quite easy:

Turn these three matches into 6 matches. You can not break the matches.

A proper wording would be "there are three matches, turn them into six", because a roman numeral VI doesn't mean there are six MATCHES which is what your (probably faulty) wording implies.

Nonetheless, I still hold that most likely the solution is to arrange them in the roman numeral VI.

This one is very hard, so if you figure it out, major kudos to you. (I figured it out only after a long time btw)

If no one manages to figure it out in a few days, I'll just post the answer and we'll move on to the next one, OK?

You have five toggling buttons (no relation to Wonderland!) arranged in a row like this:

12345

Each time you toggle one of them to "on" the next two buttons will also toggle themselves to the other state. If you toggle button 2, it also toggles buttons 3 and 4.

If you toggle (for instance) button 4, it "wraps around", and toggles buttons 5 and 1.

One additional problem is that you can only toggle buttons that are currently off. If a button is on, you cannot directly toggle it, and must manipulate other buttons to toggle it back off.

At the beginning, all five buttons are off. Under these rules, find a sequence that toggles ALL of them on.

Additional mad props to you if you can figure out a way to do it in just five presses.

Is it in any way like Panderling 234?

If so, it might be easy for me. I don't know, but I'll see. :)

A bit yes, in that buttons activate/deactivate other buttons.

Problem is, I have no idea what the goal actually IS in Panderling 234, so I can't judge that.

Found one very long solution so far,
3, 1, 3, 5, 1, 3, 5, 1, 3, 5, 1, 4, 3, 1, 2.
Going to go find more now. :P If this is enough, though, I can try to find a puzzle.

EDIT: Found a 7-step solution:

Since I didn't require finding a 5-step solution (the shortest one AFAIK) you may post the next puzzle... or try and find a 5-step solution if you want to.

I think the stars in the color tag were an attempt at censoring the secret word. Unfortunately, that didn't seem to work well. :?

Maybe we're supposed to take it literally, as in the secret word "here".

So, "here".

It is. It has many names really. A glitch so bizarre, it needs to have more than just one name!

I got a hard one.

TOM SWIFTY

Unscramble the letters in each word below, then unscramble the order of words to create a Tom Swifty sentence. (Tom always speaks adverbially.)

LBWE TUO DEIYLGHDETL LAL I HET DLENCAS ISDA TMO

Have fun... :D  :P

It's not that hard to unscramble the words themselves, but somehow I can't understand what do you mean by a "Tom Swifty" sentence. Maybe it's because I woke up five minutes ago.

I SAID: TOM DELIGHTEDLY BLEW OUT ALL THE CANDLES

Is this word order OK?

ANSWER: "I blew out all the candles," said Tom delightedly.

Close.
