Hmm...it appears that I'm stuck. I don't have enough keys to get back to the beginning. How do I get back?
Insert stupid jokes here.

There is one mech gate that you won't need to unlock, which is one of the gates with a wooden diamond button behind it. You should have just enough keys to unlock everything you need.

Make sure you press the color-changer button in one of the maintenance areas to change the red gates to yellow. That way, you can open the gates by using the yellow keys.

Here are the key locations, in case you're missing any:

Yellow Keys 1-4: At the lake near the top left corner of the area.
Mech Keys 1-4: Under each tree near the TNT barrels at the end of the course.
Mech Key 5: At the lake near the top left corner of the area.
Mech Keys 6-7: At the top right corner of the area. Unlock the gate using a mech key and you'll have have a profit of one key.
Mech Keys 8-9: Guarded by the Chomper behind the green gates.
Mech Key 10: In the maintenance area with the green button.

EDIT:
Emerald141 wrote:However, there was a bit of a glitch: I think I was supposed to lure the Chomper onto the white buttons so I could get the two keys inside (using one of them to get out again), but it was much easier to just use one of the keys on the gate, fetch the two keys, and come back out the way I went in.
Yeah, I noticed that. By the time I noticed it, I couldn't be bothered to fix it since everything else was working perfectly after a lot of work (and I didn't have time to do another test run before bed).

The Chomper was indeed the intended method of opening the white gate.

I was thinking about this in my head and I realized you could just move the two keys across the collapsable bridges and the alternate solution would no longer work because the bridges would collapse.
i should change my signature to be rude to people who hate pictures of valves
