I died in the WA hub!

Post by ben-09 » Wed Sep 09, 2009 5:10 am

I was in the area where you see the student of "pop" magic, and I poped the first button, which raised a bridge. Then I used pop on the button again, but while standing on the bridge. I was curious about what would happen, because you can't die in the hub. The bridges collapsed, I drowned and it said that I have lost this adventure. I wasn't in an adventure, and the game reverted to the start-up screen. I hadn't saved, because I didn't think I could die in the hub.

WA is Adventure-based(so that means the hub is an adventure too) so you can die in the hub.

Good luck, and save before Zopi Lala gets you.

No they don't. Instead they give a message something like this:

The Shards make a Dull sound. Something strange is going on.
To Shorty, who was immortalized in an adventure.
To Marinus, who was my community older brother.
To Janet, who I will remember every time I wear a toque.

May these lost Wonderlanders find true adventure beyond us.

Yes, they do. I've done it before on several occasions, and then swore at myself for realizing what I just did.

Maybe it's only after you finish the game or something. Who knows.

When I was first playing WA, when Jedlic was coming out from getting the key in his basement he opened his door on me and I died.

*hands everyone a chill pill before things get out of control*

Seriously though, does it really matter who found it first right now? I think not.

Sorry guys, but I did that AGES upon AGES ago. ------> http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=118854#118854 (and yes, I did try it after dlcs told me it doesn't do anything fatal to the game.)

I found another way to die in a hub!

save your game near a stinker and go to the place where you learn
to blink then load your game and shoot blink at the stinker
then it will come up "you must protect all stinkers from harm" and you
will die!
Why did the chicken cross the road?
Because if the road crossed the chicken the old lady's would trip over the bump!
(no offence to anyone who thinks of themselves as "old")
