Qloof, what screen capture program do you use???

I got 3, but only one of them works with WA: Fraps, HyperCam 2, and Camtasia Studio.

Of course, since my luck is terrible, HyperCam 2 - which has a watermark (

) is the only one that works with WA.

The others crash or go way too slow for it to work properly.

Something weird happened whenever I used HyperCam. Whenever I went to record, in the middle of recording, my computer would go into sleep mode and would never wake up! So I had to reboot. That's why I got rid of it.

Hey, jdl - When do you expect another demo to come out? Once assignment #4 is done?

If so, I've got one half-done, and at the least I can get two of the areas done.

I would like to contribute to this project by making an area for the adventure.

When I've finished designing it and making the area look really good (hopefully it will XD) I will send it to you and you can copy the stuff into your adventure or change the music track and all that stuff.

Ok, here's how it works now:

If you want to send me adventures, post it openly on the forum (and not in PM). I may use them, I may not. Please note that if I use them, it may be changed slightly, but most still kept the same.

This does not go for level designers. If I chose you to be a designer, then stop posting them openly. If your not a designer, post it openly. Please post it in this topic.

Why not? Wouldn't all the others viewing the topic be able to play the area already?

BTW: I finished my level but I gave it to Qloof so that he can make the place look better. Once that is done I will give it to you.

Yeah. So that everybody has an idea of what the completed/demo version of the game will be like.

How do you make red magic come out of the fire flowers?

I used cbloopy's MissileFlower.

Well, you did a really good job at it.

I think once we have finished the whole thing we should make another video that shows some of the areas later on or something.

Maybe. If somebody can record the footage for me. I can't do it because no recording programs work on my computer. But we have a looooooooong way to go before the game is finished.

This would go much easier if we were able to make Hubs and Adventures. We wouldn't have to worry about the player getting stuck and have to restart the whole thing over again whenever you can press Restart Adventure whenever their in an "Adventure".

Yes, you are. But!!! It will take about a half hour because I need to transfer all the monster textures into a folder called "MOPITex" and redo all the enemies in the level. Same with the gates. I also need to do some "tweaking" to some things. Plus, I need to upload the adventure to MediaFire and Zip up the MOPITex folder and post it on here so... A half an hour sounds right.

Demo 4 Is Now Ready!

I'm sure you all are excited about Demo 4 since the Preview Video on Youtube. But, there are a couple notes I must point out:

1. You must have the MOFI Icon set.
2. You must have the textures: MOFIs Red Cave called "cave2", the Jungle Temple called "jtemple", MOFI's Volcano texture I call *"lava", and the Wonderfalls texture called "wonderfalls".
3. You HAVE to unzip this folder called "MOPITex" into C:\WA Editor v096 (Your main Editor folder. The one that has the Player and Editor exe's in them.). DO NOT RENAME THE FOLDER OR THE CONTENTS INSIDE! If doing so, the adventure will not load. It won't even load without this folder!
4. Use save often! You will see why.

5. Leave comments.
