I'm gonna spend it as always. I'm gonna go to church for two hours, stay upstairs while my family hides the Easter Baskets, then we get clues and try to find ours. Then we just eat. I MIGHT make a quick Easter level to celebrate.
Remember to look at the dates that every post is made. It's been many years, and I, and others, may not be the same people we were when we made them. This is a symbol of where we came from, and should be remembered as that.

FYI Easter originally comes from the Jewish Passover/Pesach, as the entire Christian religion originally comes from the Jews.~xpr'd~ wrote:I'm a jew. My family always buys chinese food on christian holidays.

I have no idea what "hanukah" is but I like Chinese food though, no matter on Easter, or Christmas. Even on new years day.

As I said a little while ago: There have been too many wars because of religion, too many people killed and tortured because of religion.Sammy_P wrote: 4 * Things which possibly might lead into a heated religious debate/argument *
If you only say things in an objective way like: Christians believe this, Jews believe that, and Muslims believe something else, there will be no problem, but please don't act on this forum as if your religion is the one and only truth! (You'd better make a new topic about the weather

I think the message is OK, since it expressed Sammy's feelings about xpr'd being a jew, which might surprise a few people
But there might be a trace of personal attack depending on how you take it.
Tyteen, i'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO surprised abou you saying that!!!!!!!!!I think the message is OK

But seriously, you have even on your own 3Studio forum rules about spam and about messages must be clear, and they must really have something to say; no nonsense. (translated in my own words, if I understood and remember well)
Also I wonder what's surprising about being a Jew. Some people are Jew, other people are not. I am a Dutchmen. ...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... You are a Chinese. ...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...
Or should I say: NYO ?

Sorry for double post. I did a little research, and here are some parts of your own rules, especially the bold parts, which apply to the mentioned post.

Yeah, no. Different people have different beliefs. If you can't accept it, don't comment on it. More than anything else, don't try and force your own beliefs onto others - it's almost guaranteed to make you look rude, and chances are, it won't work.Sammy_P wrote:~xpr'd~ wrote:I'm a jew.

I won't take those expressions as purely nonsense - they don't mean much, but they do hold a meaning. Also, since this forum aren't running on 3.studIo rules, there may be slight changes while the same set of concept are being carried out. (?)
But yeah, it is pretty much a personal attack.
Q: My brain is broken. Please override me. :P

Qloof, thanks. I'm not sure if the word "Jew" means a member of a religion/belief, of or member of a group of people who came originally from the country Israel, but I think it doesn't make much difference in this situation.
Tyteen, you're right about this: Those rules don't apply to this forum, but, in my opinion, they do apply to you. If XPR or Q would have said that, then I wouldn't have mentioned those rules, because they didn't make those rules or at least, they didn't suggest to use those rules also for this forum, like you did.
But in the end, it is not about rules, like I said several times before; It is about that people are not bothering other people by making nonsense posts. And you can say that it has a meaning, well, perhaps you're right. If you would write here in Chinese, it also would have a meaning. But all those Chinese signs are quite nonsense to all of us coming from Europe or America. Therefore we should make clear that other people also understand what we mean. And only the word "no" (which was a lie, if XPR was telling the truth) with 65 O's, in size 214, is quite unclear to me, or, with other words, quite nonsense.
(But I have to agree that :3 looks like a guy with two noses.

No. As an answer to "What are you doing for Easter?" there are some logical questions back like:Technos72 wrote:Is this topic getting derailed?
- What does Easter mean?
- Why do you say Easter instead of simply 24 April?
Well the answer to those questions possibly depend on someone's culture, religion or belief. Perhaps Easter means something different for a christian, jew, muslim, agnost, or atheist.
_______
Emerald, an agnost does not necessary have to be an atheist. In a way I am agnostic as well, but I'm definitely not atheistic. An agnost does not say "It is not true", but only "There is no evidence that it is true".
So, an agnost can believe in any religion, but in the meantime think that there is no evidence that any religion is true.
