Okay sorry.

I expect them to appear during an anime, but not when random pictures appear of them. Or on youtube when random anime videos appear in related videos. Or something like that.

But I'm able to stand seeing them when I get used to where and when they show up on my screen if I look around the same spots in the internet. Then I wouldn't find it annoying...

Higurashi kinda works like that. It tends to give you a hint before someone shows up in most cases (though the main characters never seem to get it).

Plus none of the characters are stereotypes, so nothing to worry about there. Unless you're watching the English version, they're all excellent.

Picked up Himatsubushi-hen Vol. 2 today. Akasaka's breakdown when he finds out about Rika's death is even more effective than before.

Yeah, now I just need to pick up Onikakushi-hen Vol. 1 and both Volumes of Watanagashi-hen.

Anyways! Picked up Watanagashi-hen Part 2. Haven't read it yet, but I only need Onikakushi/1 and Watanagashi/1 and then I've got the Question Arcs all in Manga format (no, the manga exclusives don't count to me

)

Eh... I should actually go read the VN for once. For some reason I can't get as involved with it as I could with the manga, or even if it was a proper novel. Might be because of the writing style (how it isn't past-tense, and how it uses so many exclamation marks, not a fan of that). Still awesome though.
