That's what you get for downloading Bricks III.

OMG, I gotta start playing Bricks I more. This is inspiring me.

P.S. Is there a level editor for this game? Or do I have to figure out clever tricks to do it?

There was a level editor, but the interface is confusing at best. I totally can't get my head around how to do what.

Bricks is fun!
Interview with Ryuk
Me: What is your favorite food?
Ryuk:Apples.
Me:If you had a chance to kill Light, would you? Ryuk:Hmm....
Ryuk: Yah, but he gives me apples!

This just goes to show, even a Shinigami has a soft spot. ^o^ - Oh apples[*swoon*]...

Where can you get the editor? Is it not there anymore? :(

Well, let's see:
ANOTHER programming idea added to the list.
(I already have two many)

Why don't I make some and post them? Don't expect anything hard. They'll be a breeze for you. :D Not that I could do any better.

Bump.
After being totally worn out by Bricks III, I returned to Bricks I, and lo and behold, I finally solved Einstein. FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY yippee!
Einstein was one of the neatest levels I've ever seen.

:) If I'm right, this puzzle is derived from "Hua Rong Dao" story in which Cao Cao managed to escape from Hua Rong Dao through the Shuhan army.

History:
The wooden layout is the one in "Forget-Me-Not" level. My trick won't work on the wooden original due to a subtle change in rules. :(

Klocki is a Polish name for the original puzzle. Klotski is Microsoft's version with the first 24 levels from Bricks I. It starts from "Daisy", but has an additional puzzle that was cut out from Bricks I due to difficulty. It was reintroduced as a competition puzzle.

The other Bricks levels feature special elements that make the game more interesting and difficult.

Bump.

Have just broke 10K in Bricks III, thought I never would. My latest solved level is Soccer. Funny because it was actually really easy once I've found the right start.

To get Bricks IV, you need to break 30K in Bricks III, so of course I'm still working at it!!

P.S. To mqdar: tried the editor again, and I pretty much figured it out, but how do you change the board size? 5x5 is not enough.

Just hover your mouse over the buttons. You'll eventually find the right ones. The only problem is, you can only make square levels, not rectangular ones.

14741 now. DAMN hard game. The progress is now slooooooooow...

With exception of Chromatron series, this has got to be the longest time I've ever spent on a puzzle game.

15213 after solving "Ali Baba". WHAT WAS THAT?! HOW LOW OF A BLOW WAS THIS?!! FREAKING... MYSTERY ELEMENTS..

Alright, now that I've calmed down after a level six freakout, I'll explain: the title screen says "one level has an undocumented mystery element". Well, guess what? It's right here, in this level. There's one block that looks like a wall, but can be moved. And unless you discover it, the level can't be solved.

Freaked up game. :?

EDIT: 16945, solved "Bridge" and "Arrow". The former turned out to be relatively simple with me overlooking the most obvious thing in the world. The latter, however, was one heck of a puzzle. Good.

EDIT2: 17840 after solving "Random". Not as random as I thought it'd be, but still random enough to try and shove stuff around till it works.

Yes, yes... I do. In fact, that's why I didn't use EDIT that last time, to be able to claim that I've made a Q-post. These are rarities!

Well, several people have D-posted when they first joined just to unlock BBCode.

After being totally, totally, TOTALLY worn out by Bricks III, I decided to revisit Bricks JR a few days ago and made quite a few move-opting improvements.

My current JR scoreboard:
1-10: Perfect!
11. HOUSE OF USHER (+2)
12. TETRIS TOWER (+4)
13. COMBINATION (+1)
14-20: Perfect!
21. FUNNY BLOCKS (+1)
22-23: Perfect!
24. RIVER (+5)
25-26: Perfect!
27. CHEOPS (+1)
28. RODS (+2)
29-30: Perfect!
31. MIROGLU (+2)
32. ATTRACTION (+5)
33-40: Perfect!
41. MIRROR IMAGE (+4)
42: Perfect!
43. PHONECALL (+6)
44. CLOSET (+8)
45. FISHY (+3)
46: Perfect!
47. LITTLE RIDDLE (+4)
48. CHECK AND MATE (+5)

2+4+1+1+5+1+2+2+5+4+6+8+3+5+5=53 steps. Some room for improvement here, don't ya think?!

EPIC BUMP
I decided to revisit Bricks III. I had some more progress before... but today I actually solved two levels (PHOBOS and TWIG) and now my score is 20259... which means I broke 20K, which means my rating is now "ADVANCED". Yay for me!

How much more do I have to get to end up at "MASTER"? I'll have to look it up to see...

EDIT: Jesus Chirst on a bicycle, I need to break 35000?! That's like EVIL, lol.
EDIT 2: Wait, no. Turns out the next game requires "Experienced" and not "Master". So I need to break "only" 30000. Still evil, but not as much.

They can use BBCode whenever. They probably wanted to be able to post attatchments.

By D-posting I meant Deca-, not Double. Also I was relatively new to the forum then, so I didn't know what I was talking about. *shrugs*

Strangely, I couldn't get an avatar until I reached 10...

Reason was that it's supposed to disable links and maybe (I'm not sure) attachments, but the system is very paranoid and often disallows things that are not links nor attachments. A random word or smiley, if similar enough, can cause the system to reject the post outright. It stops checking you after you get 10 posts, so people were deca-posting in the meet and greet section.

Not my phrase unfortunately. First saw it in a YouTube comment to mrmidas2k's no-ring run of the Sonic 1 and Knuckles hack.

The whole phrase was like: "Jesus Christ on a bicycle. That looked hard."
