My eye was really hurting. I told a doctor... he just said there was something wrong with my eye and that we needed to go to the hospital to have it checked out. Zooming to the hospital we went. They haven't told me what was wrong in the first place yet. I just know this much: if I didn't have it operated on, it would become infected or something and something bad would happen. My vision in that eye was getting worse by the minute at that point.
AFTER THE SURGERY...
I ended up getting a glass eye because they said my old eye was just.. err.. bad, let's say. I'm still getting used to it. I made a covering over it. I tore out a DVD burner laser diode and soldered it on. I added a few other things, and now I have an electronic "eye" (it's paint) that can shoot burning lasers. It's awesome. I'm starting to see things kinda 2D because I only have one eye now. I hate depth perception.
I know, you didn't even know I was going to HAVE any, but now you do :3
It must be pretty cool to have a 'robotic eye' but heck, that surgery must have hurt and it must be annoying to get your vision messed up. I hope they find a very good fix to replace the glass eye soon.
Thanks. The surgery didn't hurt, you really think they'd keep me awake while removing and replacing my eye? :3 Unfortunately, I don't think they can fix the glass eye. It's not that bad either, though. I'm getting used to it quickly.
Oh, by the way, it was my right eye. Just FYI... :P
Thanks. It's kinda embarrassing in school, I have to take off my electronic eye... then only one of my eyes move and so NOW, I have one more reason to be teased ._.
Careful with the laser there. Don't overuse it. The chances are really low, but you could be shining at the floor and then hit the salt crystal just wrong and it hits the other eye...
I hope your vision gets better.
Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya. Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.
Thanks. I don't use it too much, but I see what you mean. I'll be careful.
This morning I downgraded it to just a laser pointer instead of a burning laser because I almost set my lawn on fire when I was walking my dog. Now I have a burning laser POINTER for that. :3
My signature now VERY closely resembles what I look like.
Yeah, it's pretty fun. I'm trying to reinforce the wires right now, it keeps turning off randomly. I'm trying to use some old wires from my broken headset, so far it's working better. Having a glass eye isn't actually that bad, it's just strange until you get used to it. Sometimes I get headaches as my brain remembers places in 3D, but I only have one eye so I see in 2D-ish so my brain tries to see them in 3D, but I can't so it tries to comprehend it, but it still can't....
I'm trying to get my camera to work. It doesn't like my SD cards anymore.
Today I've been working on this little switch that goes down my shirt sleeve that isn't long enough to poke out but just long enough for me to secretly press. I can now shoot lasers without touching the side of my head. :3

So, can your glass eye covering REALLY shoot lasers, or is it just pretend?
Remember to look at the dates that every post is made. It's been many years, and I, and others, may not be the same people we were when we made them. This is a symbol of where we came from, and should be remembered as that.
