New Level - Danse Macabre *

This one is for my diligent tester, Dunc.
He inspired the title by referring to the finale sequence as "The Dance of Death"
We spent many days wandering this small and deadly dungeon.

Tried numerous ideas but so far little success. I know what I would like to see happen but...it ain't.

This is a tiny level, but a big challenge.
One thing I'll say is don't murder Boomer with the red gate!

I am pretty sure I know what to do. I do know I got Peegue all the way over to the red gate with the boomer, but that is where I'm at. No help, though!

I can get all the rainbow coins and I figured out how to get Stinky out from behind the red gate, brilliant BTW, Just can't sort out the the last boomer and the box blocking the exit.

That is one deadly dance, I haven't made it off the dance floor yet, But I came real close twice, Got excited and made a wrong turn, I see waht the boomer does though, I will give it anther go tomorrow, Got to let the noodle cool down before it over heats.

Got er done, Brilliantly evil level, The red gate was murderous and timing had to be precise.

The dance of death was a whole other ball game, I of course was going at it in the wrong direction, Thanks Mark, Don't want to give anything away by rambling on. Just one more thing in that the title is peeeeeerfect. Ace level my friend. Carry on

Solution:
First have Stinky use the red button to release Kaboom from the room.
And the yellow button to destroy him as he exits the right yellow gate.
If timed correctly Kaboom will explode the box beside the yellow gate.
The generator will start so Peegue can escape.
Have Peegue collect the two coins and push the box down one tile.
Have Stinky slide the other box left on the blue button.
Walk him clockwise around and stop on the red button.
As soon as Kaboom's foot lands on the red button, push Stinky left to collect the coin inside.
This takes a bit of practice to get the timing right.
Have Peegue push the box down one tile, walk clockwise around and push the box on the red button and exit the room.
Now Stinky can easily leave his trap without getting killed.
Walk him clockwise around to push the box on the red button and then stand on the yellow button.
Now Peegue can walk around the top hallway to stand just above the open red gate for the Kaboom Room.
Here is the Dance Step:
When Kaboom's eyes touch the right wall, have Peegue quickly step down to collect the coin and step back up again.
Now Peegue can walk clockwise around the top hallway and stand on the right side of the box in the bottom hallway.
Kaboom will turn around and waddle to the exit.
Slide the metal box left and sandwich Kaboom between them.
This will clear a path for our two heroes to go play some easier levels.

sorry i'm so late posting but i'm honoured to have such a stinker dedicated to me

we found out so many strange things about kaboom movements while testing this level, you may find something to do with that comes to a level near you shortly

and i did indeed spend many an hour perfecting the dance of death, and of course, it's all in the eyes

fantastic stuff as usual

What a dance

Gave it another go after reading the walkthrough. And I still needed a few tries to finally finish this brilliant level. Amazing that Peegue doesn't die with all those Kabooms exploding around him

I'd been coming back to this one on and off since you posted it Mark. Had made some progress, but basically was very far from the solution.
